Vaughan: Murder City

Three gunshot murders within a 5 minute drive of the Costco / Colossus movie theatre complex at Highway 7 and Weston road in the last 17 days.

The first victim, 28 year old Mila Barberi, shot on March 15/17 was a targeted murder by a professional. The third one yesterday, of 55 year old Dominic Triumbari of Vaughan was also a professional execution.

In between these 2 shootings, on March 23/17 a 26 year old man named Laquar Lyew from PIckering, driving his white BMW near Jane Street and Highway 7 - was shot 5 times and died on the scene after crashing into a pole.
Police don't know whether this BMW shooting was road rage incident or targeted assassination.

None of the killers have been apprehended by police.

This is the one which is the most troubling and curious. Typically Mob hits are not made on young women. Now perhaps the actual target was the 40 something year old man who was wounded, but again Mafia hits are not typically done by members of 'the gang who couldn't shoot straight.'

Aardie, my mom's friend attended the funeral reception of the deceased young lady, who appears to have been at the wrong place at the wrong time. I would agree that perhaps the 40 year old guy was the targeted person, but here's another theory. I believe he was married, but not to the young lady. So could she have been the target? If it was a mob killer, he would've assessed the error of his ways, and finish the job, unless he thought he got the guy too. I believe you can find a pic of the SUV with the rear window shot out on the internet.
