The Leafs were overmatched in the Sharks game. Boyle didn't do so well in f/offs. Andersen was great and gave them a chance to at least gain one point but they blew it because of poor end zone coverage by Jake Gardiner with one minute + left.
If Andersen can give this kind of goaltending, Leafs have a good chance to squeak in even with the weakest defence crop amount the teams they're competing with.
The Gardiner problem, shows the need for a #1 D-man.
I didn't see the game, but Boyle, like any player, probably needs a few games to get familiar with the Leafs systems. His FO% will come back to where it was with Tampa.
