YRP has recently ramped up their presence in The Highway 7 and Leslie area. Toronto Police or Bylaw MAY do a little bit to save face but there is no way they'll make a big impact. City Councillors will have to do that.

That report is somewhat misleading in that they make it sound like every guy who goes to every MP is getting FS.
They don't actually say that, but it's implied.

Lmao. You guys don't get it. No one is going after anyone. It's been a long time battle between holistic spas and body rub parlors. Stop being so dramatic.

Exactly!

Seems like the whiny drama queen reporter found out her boyfriend cracked the secret to not being a slave to the power of her civilian pussy power-play!

Or that Flirt initiated the story to apply pressure to the City to keep pressure on the holistic spas.

But if you listen to the Councillor and licensing official, they pretty much say that there is not any intention to crack down on them.

And, deBearmaker even inadvertently reveals the false hysteria relating to being close to residential areas, schools, churches etc. He says it is hard to know or prove what goes on behind closed doors as it is not like they are coming out onto the street dancing around etc.

lol ...morals, lobbyists etc make this world an eclectic ...stage but your comment as hilarious as it’s written probably has a lot of truth in it ;)

I don't think that is a good way to speak to your potential clients like that. They have a right to be worried about these kinds of things. The last thing any of them want is to be in the middle of a session with a mpa and the place get raided. No one is being dramatic, they are expressing their concern.

Far less risk of being involved with the police in being caught in a raid in a licensed MPA than replying to backpage ads and shuffling into and out of skeezy motels.

That is not true considering they are talking about UNLICENSED body rub parlours / sex parlours. That is what the news was talking about. They were talking about the ones that are not legit and operating close to schools and residential areas. The public is concerned because all the licensed ones are away from schools and residential areas and should not be in an area where there are children playing or if there are schools nearby. It is just not right. I understand what these guys are saying the police have every right to raid massage parlours if they do not have the proper paperwork to operate.

not being licensed and operating a business is a CRIMINAL ISSUE. You are not authorized to run a business let alone operate a sex shop.

Expect having paperwork in place would be a bylaw issue, police deal with criminal issues.

Lots of licensed spas (even amongst the 25 bodyrub licenses) are quite close to children areas
I often wonder what some guys are thinking going in during daytime hours
