I get around.
And The Avengers provided my fetish for women in leather jumpsuits and for women with British accent (which carried through to Thandie Newton in Westworld this year).

I worry about the child stars in these shows and what happens to them afterwards. Do they experience more life problems than normal people or is it simply more publicized?

This is a different topic. I know you would not want to hijack the thread.

When I was a kid I very much enjoyed Sea Hunt with Lloyd Bridges. Became so fascinated with scuba diving that I took it up as an adult and it became one of my favorite pastimes. Wouldn't have happened without that show.

My favourite shows are Sienfeld,Married with Children,The Goldberg's. One show I recently seen on a Delta Airlines that made me laugh was called VEEP staring Julia Louise Drifus. If you can find it,watch it.It's done by HBO.

Number 1 for me would be Married With Children. Can remember watching that using rabbit ears to get the station out of Buffalo. Was hooked before most people heard of the show. Have the complete DVD collection though it isn't quite the same without ole Blue Eyes singing the theme song.

WKRP would be another one. Now that they have restored most of the music to the series I think I will grab the complete set. The elevator music they had on most of the DVDs was pretty sad.

Bizarre used to make me laugh uncontrollably, the spin off was a favorite guilty pleasure.

Jeopardy. Been watching since the Art Flemming days. I have amassed a very large amount of useless information from my Jeopardy addiction.

Connections is actual an older documentary series than Cosmos. Both were excellent.

This is considered The Golden Age of Television. But the recipe for the current trend of highly acclaimed serialized shows derives from a mini series in the 70's: I Claudius. It's still fresh today with an 8.9 rating on IMDB.

The series launched the careers of John Hurt and Patrick Stewart.

I tried watching Girls but I couldn't get into it.

There was quite a buzz on this board about Alison Williams getting rimmed on the show. I watched 2.5 episodes and Williams character already had anal sex, seems that's the only way the character can get off.

I'll have to fast forward to Irish comic Chris O'Dowd role in the show...he's fucking funny.

I use to watch Biography on A&E but it seem to have disappeared. Love to watch a documentary on the lives of incredible people.

I also enjoyed watching Biography. But then I realized it was only good stuff that was told about these people. Never anything bad. Probably A&E didn't want a lawsuit.
