Im terrible at guessing these things but i can ask the club, they track these things. And yes this will be an annual event going forward but promoted much much earlier than we did. This was a last minute sorta thing, but wow, look at all the money raised. Good Job. I found it funny how my wife won the $ 500 girls door prize. lol, she gave the prize back and it was redrawn. I think a lucky TDL girl won it afterwards,2 questions, Andy:
How many people approximately attended??
Are you planning on making this an annual event??
Unfortunately I couldnt attend because of work related issue.
I'll definitely try next year though
If I recall correctly, one of the guys I met approached her and turns out she's the owner of Hush so I don't think you'll be able to book her unfortunately. I do agree though, she definitely turned some heads last night.great time, thanks to all who worked on this. We need more of these.
@terbparty,
Anyone know who the girl wearing the tight little red dress with a white cardigan over top?
she was hanging out with two other girls? super hot little blond.
Well said, Kathleen! A big shout out to the agencies and girls who put the planning and glamour into making this such an enjoyable and successful event!Just got in from the event. I was there from just after 8pm and stayed until 11pm.
First, I'd like to thank Andy for extending me an invitation to come, and for all his hard work. It was very nice talking to you in person, you are so kind and accommodating.
Next would be Daley. She helped me with a ton of pre-questions. At the venue, found her to be so beautiful, pleasant and fun to talk to.
As for the event, it was excellent. I've been to a couple Industry parties, and they were too small to accommodate the numbers. I've been to Xmas parties held at SC and it doesn't feel right mixing with general public.
This event, felt right. It was comfortable for me to walk and mingle knowing everyone present was on the same page or there for the same reason. The crowd was quite big, but the location has so much room, nobody was remotely crowded. There was VIP, dancing, room to sit, and lots of places to stand in comfort.
The highlight, was the women. Soooo many stunning woman at this. I kept seeing more and more coming in small groups. I talked to many of the girls, and they were all so friendly and down to earth.
This even was really was so well put together. The security, shuttle service, lots of on site parking, bouncers were friendly, as was everyone there. The best party I've been to in a long while, and happy to have been part of it.
I saw so many familiar faces like Kbear and met many for the first time. One suggestion for the guys.. please wear a name tag next time...lol
Andy, why dont you hold these types of parties on a friday or saturday night??Im terrible at guessing these things but i can ask the club, they track these things. Weekends are good days to earn for the ladies and married guys probably can't get away as easily.Andy, why dont you hold these types of parties on a friday or saturday night??
Is it because the girls gotta work weekends and make money??
I wouldve gone except I cant show up all hungover next day at work.
Friday nights are better for most people I would think.
I dunno, just a suggestion

You could have booked off Friday and gotten a long weekend, then taken Monday off as well to recover from the Grey Cup.
Haha running around like a madman is the worst. I would definitely know!I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who gave their time and energy to make last night a memorable one. Big thanks to Andy for spearheading this event, L'Amour for keeping track of tickets and such, the lovely raffle sellers, and of course all the wonderful men and women who showed up to make this night possible. It was my first time assisting with an event and I was pleased with all the support I had to pull this off.
It's nice to see everyone come together for a good cause. Yes, we got to meet a lot of individuals we've had our eyes on, but being able to support our community at the same time makes it even better. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to express their gratitude either on the boards or on Twitter, with so many positive comments among others. I love it when different agencies and independents can all work together and show their support for a good cause, putting aside competition.
My only regret...not getting to talk to as many people as I had liked! I connected with many of you, but would have loved a chance to not run away so quickly to find this agency, or that person. I promise I'm usually more social!
Looking forward to more events like this in the future, seeing many of you before that, and meeting even more of you soon!
