I hope you'll reopen this thread in 2 weeks when Trump is still the GOP candidate to post "I guess I'm just way off base here. Just ignore my posts from now on."
If Trump is still the official GOP candidate in two weeks, I will laugh in triumph. Because it will mean that the GOP is even dumber than I think and that they are compromising their senate and congress seats by retaining Trump as their official presidential nominee.

Ok. That clears up where you're coming from pretty well. I see now that you're not actually making predictions or analysing the available facts, you just want a certain result. It would have saved some electrons if you had just posted "I want Hillary to win".

"Opinions" from highly qualified people who are experts in their field are essentially conclusions. They know the Russians did it. But the US govt cannot officially take that position.
That's patently wrong on both counts.

1. Opinions are never conclusions, unless someone (like a judge, or in this case the NSA) has the lawful authority to enforce its/his/her opinion as a determination. That's basic logic.
2. The "NSA opinion" that's been reported (assuming the report is reliable) is that they have "high confidence" that it was the Russians. That's not a conclusion.
3. The NSA has already commented on the question of who hacked the DNC. They said they were not able to reach a determination (at that point). If, for national security reasons, they were not prepared to comment on that matter, that's what they would have said (and commonly do say exactly that).

Not bothering with you anymore on this point. You've dug in and you're just talking for the sake of talking.

You just figured out that I don't want Trump to win??!!

If Hillary was running against a competent, decent adversary, I would be open to argument as to who was more qualified.

Since you're not advancing arguments, just objectives, that would be best for both of us.

It's amazing that with all the ground troops, the tens of millions in negative ads, the media Super Pac in her corner, the typical liberal celebrity support, that there is even a race worth talking about. It goes to show how weak Clinton is as a candidate.
True. With an opponent like Trump she should be more than the current 14 points ahead. Is that really even a race?

But you gotta love the zealotry of the Trump devotees. Small (and getting smaller) yet still think that Trump is running a good race.

When you add staff to a growing organization, you push responsibility down from the top. The senior staff then have more "managerial" responsibility and less "hands on" responsibility. That's all that's happened here. Manafort has been freed from all of the organizational work of putting together the ground game of the campaign in order to focus exclusively on strategy.
The organization should have been in place months and months ago. Not making major changes just weeks before the election. The infrastructure should be well established but Team Trump is scrambling like crazy at this late hour.

Manafort at this time has a title but very little influence.

I can't think of anything other than her being a shape shifting alien that could compel me to vote for Trump.
On second thought how could an alien be any worse than Trump.

The forces massed against trump are just too powerful to overcome. All the liberal lefties, the media, Hollywood, Wall Street, parents of thousands of dead American Muslim soldiers, etc., etc. Now they are blaming Trump whenever a Muslim is murdered or when someone says "Muslim go home". Surprised they didn't blame Trump for the Orlando massacre or for the wildfires in California or the flooding in Louisiana.

It was Trump's to win and he has single handily pissed away what could have been a smooth ride to the White House. It wasn't the media, parents, Wall Street, or anything or anyone else. He is the most unqualified person to ever get this close to having his finger on the button and thank whatever deity you wish he just can't shut his mouth long enough for people to remember how little they care for Hillary.

I didn't say he was running a good race. I said that he's very much in the race.

Smooth ride? No non-politician could ever on this planet have a smooth ride to the presidency. You have a strange way of looking at the world.

Everybody and their 2 year old knows Trump has a long shot.

The odds have always been slim as the aggregate power of his opponents is unprecedented. Yet he can still win or go down fighting, both of which are perfectly acceptable.

Oh please!

If the orange-haired dingbat had put together just a week of competent, intelligent campaigning, he would be neck and neck or better. He blew this one all by himself.
