True. I think they are the most global brand.

Smirnoff is the worlds biggest brand of vodka.

I have no idea which brand but I would say it would be whichever brand is most popular in Russia.
The Russian Vodka market is not dominated by one brand and none of these brands exceeds the sales of Smirnoff world wide. While sales of these Russian brands are sizable, they are fragmented into regions and individual smaller brands. Russian buy vodka by price not brand. Some of the regional brands sometimes put out a product under a new name and lower price just to boost sales. Vodka is a poor mans drink in Russia, and vodka is often bought by price not by brand.

The country that drinks the most per capita is South Korea, much of it domestically produced beer, wine and spirits, but also a large amount of imported spirits. I suspect that Russian spirit sales are just a small fraction of spirits consumed, probably 4 or 5 times more are privately produced.

It is a food court, the Russians seeing the activity by satellite phot thought it was a inter departmental / government agency information transfer / exchange.
