Not in the slightest. There was no rule in place prior to Jan. 1 that she broke. It is the truth.

Just like any golfers who used the long chest anchored putters have been cheating all these years? But she still was cheating all those years cause she was using the substance all those times. So she was a cheater period, regardless of the legality issue use of the drug.
Therefore she cheated all of those other skinny white girls she payed against. Fact.

I have zero tolerance for cheaters. I've destroyed my nude Maria Sharapova photo.Good PR Firm + Hot athlete = Great combination to deceive many naive fans.
Exactly. There are many other legit treatments out there for deficiencies.A 2015 study revealed that 724 of 4,316 Russian athletes tested were found to have meldonium in their system. That's a lot of Russian athletes with heart problems!
Also the Latvian manufacturers recommend treatment over 4 - 6 weeks, not years.
It does look therefore like many Russians have been using it to enhance their performances. Legal up to Jan 1st of course so you can only label those caught from testers this year as probable 'cheaters'.
Doesn't look like Sharapova has grounds for a retrospective TUE so she's facing a 2 or 4 year ban. Will be interesting to see whether she is actually handed such a ban. I suspect she'll get some leniency if she can provide compelling medical evidence that she was taking it on strictly medical grounds.
