Watch CP24. One victim is dead. The shooter still on the loose. Caledonia/Playfair/Lawrence area.
Hope I don't get accused of being a racist for saying this. The suspect is a white man.
Any information as to whether this is a dispute between two people who knew each other, or a sniper?
The victim and shooter probably know each other. The two dudes are pretty old. The victim is 80's and his murderer is 50's. The police think the shooter is now in a black SUV and could be anywhere now.
They were both in line at Commisso Brothers and when the guy in front got the last cannolis the guy behind went ballistic.
A mob hit.
The victim, apparently, was the inspiration for the movie The French Connection.
Police are looking for Domenico Scopelliti, age 51. One good thing about mob hits, it's rare that any innocent civilian gets hurt.

The Italians do it right. Hit the target away from innocent civilians. No Yonge Street or Eaton Centre shootout. Then the shooter surrenders to police.
That is how it should be done.
There has been numerous times in recent memory that the mafia has injured or killed innocent people, you seem to have a selective memory. The little Italy cafe shooting a few summers ago, where an innocent victim was injured. The shooting at California Sandwiches where that woman was shot and parylyzed. The biker war in Montreal were over 150 people were killed and an 11 y/o boy was killed by an explosion from a car bomb. That's a few times off the top of my head....it's not just the brothers that are indiscriminate.

There is the Italian mob, the Russian mob and bikers. All bad people. The bikers and the Russian mob are the worse when it comes to hurting innocent civilians.
No want start a new thread so post here. Remember those two guys who escaped from a New York prison? 3 guys similarly escaped from a California prison (since apprehended). Guess who helped them? Yup, a white female civilian.
