After doing some research, the two lenses that have caught my eye are: Canon 16-35 2.8 and the sigma 20mm 1.8.
Any thoughts?

Whenever I decide to make the switch, I will likely be looking at the 6D, everything else seems a little overkill for my skill level (and budget) at the moment.i recommend getting the first 5D for full frame if your on a budget, can be found used on craigslist or kijiji. Semi-pro full frame I recommend 6D. If you have a bit more cash get the new 5Dmk3. If your very into photography get the 1D series cameras that cost about $6-8K.
I'll wait for the next versions after the 6D perhaps the 6Dmii. Right now I have 60D and its a great camera very tough and capable for the price although not so good in low light. I think they could do better in low light with 6D and the mkii might be the answer.Whenever I decide to make the switch, I will likely be looking at the 6D, everything else seems a little overkill for my skill level (and budget) at the moment.
I shoot a 6D and its an amazing dslr. It's better than the 5D3 for low light but doesn't have the af points to match. That being said I've shot sports with the 6D and its done very well.I'll wait for the next versions after the 6D perhaps the 6Dmii. How is the DR? This is important for me as I use it a lot for family shots with natural and available light and have a multiracial family if you catch the drift...from what I've seen the 6D could use improvement in low light, DR, and particularly in the Video end as it's just too soft...however the Canon DSLRs have a nice video look I like despite the negatives especially when you improve it with magic lantern.I shoot a 6D and its an amazing dslr. Version 1... Good price on a used one at henry's and I got the warranty so all should be goodThe 16-35 is a great lens, did you get version one or two?
Give the Canon 24mm f/1.4 L lens a try. If you like prime lenses. You can rent them at Vistek or Henrys.Version 1... Good price on a used one at henry's and I got the warranty so all should be good
With the 60d being a crop sensor, not sure a 24mm will be wide enough. I think for what I need the 16-35 will do the job!Give the Canon 24mm f/1.4 L lens a try. If you like prime lenses. You can rent them at Vistek or Henrys.
Sweet gear. I wish I had the 5D3 but I like my two 5D, once you go full frame you won't go back.Very nice work glamphotographer! Wish I can shoot more nudes stuff like u Im doing more wedding/portraits stuff now.

I have the Nikon 14-24 - crazy awesome lens, better than the guy who owns it.Trying to get this thread back to its original intent. Im looking for a wide angle lens and could do with some recommendations
At the moment i have a tamron 24-70 2.8. Its a great lens fast enough in low ight and very sharp. Id like something equally as sharp.
Criteria
I have a 60d but would like to move to full frame one day so i would like it to be full frme compatible.
I really like the 2.8 but im a little flrxible there especially if someone can explain why you might notwant a 2.8 for a wide angle.
Id like to spend around $1000 but can go to $1500 for theright lens.
Because you photography pussy? LOL!!!I have been taking nudies since the days when I had to take my film to the pharmacy to have them developed.
