Oh for fuck's sake. You got some bad advice from idiots .I wanted to bring them in but a couple of people told me it was best not to do so.
If the mother cat was friendly, she was not feral, she was abandoned. Feral cats will run like the wind when approached by a human.

The mother cat has moved her kittens somewhere (hopefully) safer. The problem will be racoons (and people). Racoons are quite carnivourous and will tear a kitten apart for a meal. Mom cat will not be able to defend against a group of unrelenting racoons. Coons have an incredible sense of smell.
See if you can find them. Call Toronto Cat Rescue.
You should have brought them inside right away, by being inside and you holding the kittens they become socialized to humans. Beyond 6 weeks when they start to walk around if they are not close to humans they become feral.
My Daughter brought in a cat from the shelter that was about 2 years old, they explained to her that this was a feral cat that had been abandoned as a baby. The only thing you can do now is to look around close by and see if the mother cat has moved her kittens to a spot close.

I think your age estimation is off, kittens start to walk around at 14-20 days.

When she let him out inside our home the cat disappeared in the basement for about 2 weeks. I kept telling my daughter not to worry and we'd leave food for him.
He finally showed his whiskers, and adapted to his new surroundings, We've had MoMo four years now. and he's very loving especially towards my daughter.
I hate to break it to you, but you were not a very good mother.I can't find them - haven't seen them since yesterday afternoon. The babies are definitely too young to walk very far on their own so the mother would've had to move them.
I tried not to touch them and only picked one up when it was lying on its back struggling to get on its feet. The mom seemed really friendly letting me pet her... but maybe she saw me as a threat(?) I don't know but I'm sad.
Hate to break it you but by that comment alone, you are not a very nice human.I hate to break it to you, but you were not a very good mother.
