Does it seem there are tons of motivational speakers out there today?
I was watching some Ted Talks on a couple of topics and then it seemed like there were a huge ton of motivational speakers.
Seems like everyone is one and wants to be one, give great advice (advice they probably don't take).
Reminds me of an article I read about a psychiatrist, David Viscott, had shows on TV and radio, heard him a few times in the mid-90s.
His style was simple but right in your face and excellent. However, he ended up getting a divorce and I wondered if he followed his own advice ever on certain life aspects.
But TedTalk speakers are popping from everywhere with their life views and they just seem tacky.
Love the science, historical, educational aspects of TED, but the "life" stuff, is getting overly saturated and bloated.
