I think this training staff should be fired ??? How many of the injuries have they screwed up this season. Batista needs a cortisone , They should have given time off no dh ing. so he could have rested. Saunders should have not played now is out or 6 more weeks. Players they have ended up on 15 disable list this year after player a bit . The injuries the last couple of years have been too many . I dont think the trainers had these players ready

If there is blame to be had, and I don't necessarily think there is, it would be with the team doctors.
The only decisions the trainers make is how to deal with the immediate injuries at the park. After that, diagnosis and treatment of any injury is under the direction of the doctors. The rehab treatment may done on a day to day basis by the trainers, but the MD's dictate what the therapy is, how frequently, how intense, when they can return etc. The trainers only follow instruction.
7 quality starts in a row. Things are hopefully starting to stablize with the rotation. Now we just need the everyday guys healthy and start to reel off some wins.
