He has MANY MANY times during the election, before the election, and after the election talked about how an independent Palestinian state is not currently possible because of Hamas.

He very famously holds that view and discusses it constantly. He said it to the UN, he said it to the US Congress, and he said it repeatedly throughout the campaign.

His view is clear.

And Netanyahu isn't "killing" anything. The Palestinians have been offered an independent Palestinian state. The offers were rejected.
