Good call.

I was just referring to an outlook on coaches, but didn't give much thought to GMs. I still think things are solid in LA, not so much in SJ.
There were whispers that the LA players and coach do not get along, so Sutter maybe fired.

DO NOT want ex Boston GM, Chiarelli, on the Leafs.

SJ will fire the Zamboni driver. The ice in SJ is the worst in the NHL. LOL!

Sutter could be gone. Players can get get tire of their coach.

I've been watching the Leafs for almost 40 years and came to the conclusion along time ago that it dosen't matter what players they have , who coach or GM are , they sucked in the past , they suck now , and probably will always suck !
We have had some of the best players in the world come from this province our own backyard and we get None of them because there is no accountability for there scouts scouts - there off in lala land !
FYI, the Leafs fired almost 20 scouts.

Leafs manage to hold on to the 4th pick.

Edmonton will have the 1st pick for the 4th time in 6 years. I assume that is unprecedented.

From relief to disappointment back to relief in three consecutive envelopes.
Carolina keeps fifth, whew Leafs not bumped down.
Leafs do not win, damn even though I did not expect it I did find myself holding my breath from about envelope seven.
Oilers win !, at least it was not Buffalo.

McDavid, judging the look on his face was it just nerves, he finally knows where he is going or was he disappointed it was Edmonton ?

In the NHL yes, in North American pro sports, no.

Now if Edmonton can just get some D's and a reliable goalie in the next few years, they can be a "potential" powerhouse in 3 years. Maybe trade Yakupov after next season if he performs well(Edmonton should have traded their #1 overall pick that year). Hall, Nugent-Hopkins and McDavid(potentially) are dangerous players to have in one team if they can all stay healthy. Of course, people will argue that the Oilers have been rebuilding for the past 9 years. Well, everything must come to an end and I'm betting that Edmonton will end their ineptitude sooner than later. Of course, management can f**k it all up but I hope not.

McDavid is going to need a veteran to mentor him. Like Crosby had Mark Recci to mentor him. The Oilers should trade (some of their young talent ie. Yakapov) for someone like Patrice Bergeron to mentor McDavid. If management can't figure that out, then I am afraid McDavid will be a bust.

Not exactly a firing but SJ coach McLellan resigns probably saw the writing on the wall. Maybe, just maybe, Doug Wilson the GM will get the axe?

gotta agree, its time to get rid of Kessel if possible for a high draft pick before his value drops even more.
Kessel should've been traded at the deadline, before he went to sleep. It will take a very brave or very foolish GM to pick up his contract in exchange for a top prospect or a top player(s). He can score, but he's no game changer as he was seen before the slide. He may also be uncoachable.
