This is a major kerfuffle! Strongman was going to be a no. 1 maybe even this year. This cannot be and will a tough pill to swallow. Everything is now back to sq one again, let's hope this doesn't force the Jays to move Sanchez and Norris too fast through their paces. Closer issue becomes huge now if Sanchez starts. :thumb: good luck to Marcus for a swift and healthy return...

2 Jays hurt already (and Edwin nursing a sore back). One would think that running in the outfield and picking up a ground ball should be routine (like walking down dugout steps and running to first base).

Don't forget sprinkler head injury by new Jay outfielder ... How do you tear a ACL fielding a bunt . Again I say holly shit

Cecil still out that's 2 hurt and 2 taking it easy.
Stroman may have been there best pitcher so yes they will miss him. Fortunately that is one place they may have a little depth. None of the reserves are as good but they are usable pieces.

what is it about baseball and baseball players, that all these freak injuries happen, not only the jays but other teams, walking down dugout steps, walking on a sprinkler head, bunting practice...is it me, i never hear about these injuries in other sports.............you can bet $ that at least 10/15 guys get hurt, even before the middle of march in pro baseball...

Brian Leetch stepping out of a cab. Somebody else got hurt getting out of a golf cart.

I think Stroman is their best pitcher. This also probably eliminates the flexibility they had with Sanchez. The trickle down will affect the bullpen.

Major, major loss. The only saving grace as I see it is that it is not an arm/shoulder injury which may have impacted his career in the long term.

Shit happens. Although not an athlete, CNN's Miles O'Brien lost his left arm because it was bruised by a falling heavy case. Freak accidents happens in civilian life as well.

It is just weird . A tennis player can stop and start over 100 times in a match and this guy stops cause a 3rd baseman is charging and tears a ACL . Although in basketball a player can be doing what he does all his career and one incident
Results in a ACL test . So it is just bad luck .

Saying that it should be investigated by the Jays which I bet they will do ie grounds or foot wear that was being worn

This is what I don't understand.

The Jays have complained about the mediocre facilities in Dunedin. There was talk about moving to Clearwater, why hasn't it happened? This is costing Rogers major dough.

Year after year the Jays pitchers get hurt. It's like clockwork. We've endured Morrow,Marcum, Romero, McGowan, Drabek, Hutchison, Santos, Josh Johnson.........and that's just the past 5 years.
