Same. Went to put gas and put air in a tire and my hands were completely numb for almost 10 minutes.

same thing happened to mine a month ago..... it was the switch for the fan speeds
So sad. 29 year old wheelchair bound man froze to death lying in his own driveway in Etobicoke. The taxi dropped him off and then just drove away. In Winnipeg taxis are required to eyeball the customer right into their house and not just dump them on the driveway and drive away.
Mines going but not gone. On longer trips the fan cuts out (to minimum, I guess) for long stretches at a time. Soon the whole thing'll just fucking die. But I have a solution that keeps that from happening.... didn't drive anywhere today.
Not really a long term solution though, is it.

It's days like this that I LUV the bum warmer option in my car. Even if the rest of me is an icicle my tushy is just fine. I have to protect my assets!
Time to buy a new car with heated seats. X1 is a very good SUV. Loaded and you can even get it with a 300hp motor and four wheel drive.

my father worked the.slopes at elliot lake when it was -40 plus wind chill.......every hour he took a 15 minute break.
Whenever I drop someone off, I always eyeball them into their house before driving off. You never know if they might slip on the driveway or stairs and can't get up. I wonder if that poor gentleman had a cellphone to call for help or maybe he was incapacitated and couldn't call?Awful. My heart breaks.
