Hmm I hope she isn't allowed to be a student leader anymore. She has extreme views. She needs to be a more tolerating and understanding person to be a leader. Rather than one that creates a conflicting WE versus THEM mentality.
She is a troublemaker in the making.
A part of me feels this freedom of religion thing can lead to something scary. The premise of it I feel is right, but it needs to be kept in watch. It's like we are importing conflicting views into our neighbourhood.
Whereas places like Saudi Arabia gives the death penalty for smuggling in a Bible, as mentioned in the other thread.

I think the sick bastard also happened to be a Muslim as well. Says a lot about the current state of affairs that the cops find it more important (for the first time since 2001) to focus on something other (i.e., the revenge killing aspect of this) than "a Muslim killed someone so it must be terrorism".
You do realise that she did not create the US vs. THEM mentality at play here, right? I mean, did she get away with killing unarmed citizens, or did she gun down a couple of cops in cold blood? (agreed that she is a shit student leader though)
The US vs THEM mentality I was referring to was that according to the report she tweeted for an intifada, which in it's basic sense means a sort of uprising (depending on how extreme the translation is). And as a student leader she should be more careful with what she says or displays. In some ways she may be gathering support with anger/hate tweets like that.
If that was the case I can see certain extreme parties arguing that that would be against their freedom of speech or something if and when they are caught. Or it was meant for private conversation. Blablablah

Again, it didn't happen in a vacuum. And before you jump all over me, keep in mind I am not saying she should be doing this or that it is good leadership, just that the US vs. THEM thing was created long before she decided the best thing to do was to ratchet up the tension.
Once again notty blames the victims. It's not that this clown was mentally unstable or filled with hate; the problem is obviously police brutality.
Yet she sure as shit is being counterproductive to improvements. Suggesting vigilante violence as a cure for violence is not how Western democracy works.

I don't see how these two officers deserved anything, but some of the officers involved in some of the recent incidents certainly at the very least deserve to be kicked off the force.
