Poll: What will you do post C36

Personally I will use mainly known SPs, but will venture once in a while and try a new SP but after taking all precautions. I have also known a former SP in Montreal and I regularly go see her. I will not disclose her name because she left the business but oh man, SHE IS THE ONE. I can't get enough of that girl and that is my problem for now because I don't live in Montreal. She is one of the best EVER, and she is so nice with me; that is why for now I may not be affected that much by the new law, but I am sure it will get boring some time in the future when Junior decides to try a new home.

I will also continue to see my fuck friend but I am getting tired and bored of the same (plus her husband has a hunting rifle at home).

Sorry guys I couldn't add other options as the maximum is 10. But I understand that some guys will start using only MAs or SCs. Please mention that in your post if that is the only viable option for you.

For now, I'll just wait and see how things unfold, but will likely only see known SPs.

For now Vancouver and St John admitted they will not enforce the new law and will stick to their policies (e.g. enforce only when human trafficking is involved or violence against women...), but knowing Montreal and the culture (I lived there), I am sure they will be next. And the mayor (former liberal federal) hates the Conservatives and will probably not spend a cent more to enforce the new law. Enforcing the new law in Montreal would probably require 20 times the allotted amount to the police unit charged with this (since the number of SPs is HUGE!). They will not bother, as there are other priorities for now.

First, ditto what LRH wrote about Montreal. It is widely reported in Montreal media from various "authorities", including the police, that things will not change. There are one or more threads on MERB that have summarized these official statement or linked to them. To paraphrase on MERB member "the police have more important things to do than bothering what two consulting adults do with their pee pees (private parts)."
I don't things will change that much in Ottawa but if someone is concerned Montreal is only 2 hours away.

I think the poll is interesting but we have to be careful not to read into too much. I chose "Will see only known SPs". But this isn't a noticeable change in my behaviour as I like to stick with "sure bets" the vast majority of the time.

Yes, a very good point.

I said I would still venture out occasionally because I have always taken those risks on BP, Craigslist, Quest, etc.

Having said that, I have slowed down considerably in the last couple of years as I'm getting tired of the BS, inconsistency on a repeat, and drama when taking said risks. Recently, I've only seen my FWB and well known SP's. Only time will tell if I will actually continue on with the newbies.

I didn't get to do much reading on it. But, I'm pretty sure that when we use escort services. The payment were always toward the time spent with the person and not the sexual part. All escort sites usually say that the client is paying to spend time with the person and whatever happens between the client and the escort is something that may happen between two consenting adults, etc. So does that really applies to escorts or it's more for prostitutes ( streetwalkers)?

Interim results. For now:
About 50% will stick only with known SPs, about 31% will see known AND new SPs, and 15% will stop hobbying.
Only about 18% will not change their behaviour (of a typical hobbyist who likes variety).

All the crap about the new bill has ended up convincing a meager 15% to stop hobbying. Remember, our injustice minister admitted that he wanted to erase prostitution from the face of Canada with this law. What a shame on the Cons for spending our money to give birth to a very unproductive and unjust law.
