Jesus Christ. The enemy of your enemy is not always your friend. He was about as far from a free thinker as you can get, for fucks sakes. And as if the ceeb was on a witch-hunt for those not toeing whatever misconception you have about what their party line is. Wouldn't Rex Murphey be first in line? Wouldn't they do more Noam Chomsky on "Ideas" and less motherfucking "Moses Znaimer presents annoying fucking business people who think they have a philosophy"?

FYI, Gomeshi was a milquetoast dullard, and about as lukewarm political correct an on-air personna as you could possibly imagine. Times a hundred. A starfucker with a raging ego hiding under a (very thin) veneer of "gee gosh" humility. As much as I hate for anyone to be an actual victim of sexual harassment (that's what this is about, by the by. In case it wasxn't fecking obvious to all), I am so glad to see this irksome fucktard off the air. About fucking time.
You ate one too many fruit-loops man.

"This is really an object lesson in the fact that employees have no real privacy rights and should operate on the basis that all of their actions, wherever they occur, could be discovered by employers and, worse, become embarrassing fodder for the Twittersphere and op-ed pages. It happened to Rice, Sterling and Eich; and it’s happening right now to Jian...."

THIS is it.

This thing, whatever scandal it is, should NOT have even been made public by the star unless there was something to back-it up with at the time of press release.

And all you sick, judgmental, bigotted and uninformed ass licks ought to know better than to pass judgement on alternative sexual orientation, after all YOU are as PERVERTED if not more so. Your lameness has brought about C36 and you've hidden yourself from speaking up to support sex workers but yet you flap your chops to condemn a man you know nothing about, on a story that has no facts or evidence.

May it one day happen to you, so you'll really understand how bad a job you've done at supporting Innocent until proven guilty, and how much you've sold out your carcass to corporation brand bullshit.

Likely not in the union as he's probably a contractor.
Undoubtedly. If an employee, he could also have taken advantage of the Canada Labour Code and demanded reinstatement at an administrative Labour tribunal.

After reading this article,

http://www.xojane.com/#!/it-happened-to-me/non-date

I can not be sure who to believe.
I'm sorry. She sounds like a real bitch. No one has the right to force themselves on anyone but Jesus, she blew it up IMO.

I read an earlier post on her blog about her 'running away to Rome because the guy she was in love with abused her....'. She's not that good at picking them. Worse still. She's ok about admitting to this.

Also, she admitted that one of the reasons she went out with him was to help her career.

Take out his creepiness/stalking (according to her - if it was that bad she should have charged him) and who is the jerk then?

I don't know the guy and have never tuned in to his show. He got fired and is suing his boss. Whatever.

But she sounds like a real bitch.

Follow my nose, it always knows!

errr... so what exactly did I say that was not %100 correct?
oh it was your 2nd paragraph, came across as ranty and extreme.
You may find him dull, but millions of listeners don't.

This is a man in a perilous situation, we shouldn't be trying to kick him while he's down.

The women weren't named in the Star story, so I don't know how he could sue them since he can't confirm who said what.

He could sue the Star.
The Star legal team will have carefully reviewed every line of that story and examined the supporting evidence, just as in the Rob Ford case.

Now we will hear that the Star is biased against left wing journalists...

You kidding? not only is he utterly toxic right now, but it's not like there are hundreds of stations that go for his style of programming format that are lined up looking for a host. Or even one, other than the Ceeb.

I've kicked him while he's up, I'll be fucking damned if I'm going to stop just because he's down. He's a shitty interviewer. He's a faux-humble self-obsessed hipster fuck. He's a starfucker. I love the CBC. It's on in the background pretty much all day. But I have spent years reflexively turning that shit down whenever I hear his smug, ingratiating voice ooze out of my speakers. He's a blight on the radio, and as sorry as I am for any victims of his harassment or abuse, I am thrilled to see the fucker kicked to the curb. Ranty and extreme? Son, you don't want to hear what I really think about him.

True enough. I don't necessarily think such a lawsuit would be successful.

I thought he was gay.
Same here. I saw this guy in person a couple of times at the former Marche within the CBC building when I worked nights in that area, never would have thought he was hetro. I also would have figured at the time he was in his mid 20's, not late 30's.

As for the allegations, who knows? It's 50/50 either way. He could be an abusive creep with a carefully constructed outer facade, or the accusations could be bogus, maybe a failed group extortion attempt no following through on the blackmail threat.

I personally couldn't support accusations being made well after the fact, without ever having gone to police, perhaps while bruises or other physical evidence was still present - anybody could make those claims - I find it hard to support unless I see something like Ray Rice security video which is proof enough by itself.

Are you billy bob thornton? or Kevin Donovan HAHAHA :)

I do want to hear what you really think about him.

He was pretty much the only program I listened to on CBC, didn't find his voice annoying and most of his interviews were interesting.
If theres a better canadian interviewer let me know I'll listen to their program.

But there seems to have been no attempt by the women to sue JG or involve the police and no evidence that the women know each other or have concocted their stories together. It appears to be the classic case that he has left a trail of bad behaviour.

So JG is into BDSM.

He's probably been at it for a long long time. It's his bent of choice. Given his local celebrity status, he's probably had access to a LOT of women over the years. He's 47, or 48 and never been married, and so he's probably forgotten about more women that he's had sex with than most of the guys on here have ever had sex with in their lifetimes. He's had a lot of sex for sure. And he's had a lot of BDSM styled sex. Possibly thousands of encounters with willing participants. In all of that, he's had 3 or 4 women who basically didn't like where he took them sexually. (I have no doubt that they were willing participants. None. They just didn't bargain for what they got, or they had "buyer's remorse" after the fact. I'd also bet the farm that all 3 of these mysterious women were repeat customers. They didn't just indulge his sexual kinks and predilection once. Oh no, it was several times for sure. (Now I understand why he always wears that leather bracelet.)

JG has fucked up on several fronts. First and foremost is his penchant for young women. He definitely has a thing for early 20's girls (and he's 47). Definitely a bit of creep factor there. (Let's hope for his sake, no 16 year olds come dancing out of the closet. He should be dating women closer to his own age, but I'm figuring that they just don't interest them. He likes them young and the problem with 20 year old girls is that they are still girls in so many ways. Their bodies may scream hot, but their mentality is closer to a 15 year old than a 30 year old. (Witness the ick article written by Ciccone.)

His second mistake was consent. BDSM is a real tricky situation. Let's face it, as sex goes, it's still "out there" by conventional standards. He should have gotten them to sign a contract it would seem.

JG likes sex a lot and he loves BDSM. Loves loves loves it.
