I dont know, I think if nothing else it will give alot more creditability to the city from the rest of the worlds point of view.
I also dont think you'll see Tory in a crack house or videos of him in a fast food restaurant in a drunken stuper
He gets one vote at council, just like Rob Ford did.
The real question is whether Tory can work with other politicians, at all levels, as opposed to the buffoon who managed to get all his key powers removed while making Toronto the laughingstock of the world.

Meanwhile, here in London, 90 minutes after polls closed, we have no results other than the advance polls. At the polling station, we had paper ballots, that get fed into a scanner as you cast your vote. Supposedly, the memory stick from that machine is taken to city hall and fed into the main computer there. London isn't a big place. The place I voted at is about as far from city hall as you can be in London, and at 8pm, probably would take 15 minutes to city hall. All these projections being made based on 25,000 votes out of almost 300, 000 eligible. Counting by hand actually was a lot quicker than this.
