It isn't mere speculation. It definitely ain't the FLQ. You are aware that ISIL threatened Canada? One guy wearing 'Arab clothing' certainly makes it suspicious.

Also 3 shooters is not confirmed yet, only 3 different shooting locations. Could be the same guy who drove to all 3 locations. Rideau centre is 1 block away from parliament buildings
I suppose I should have said "technically, it's pure speculation until..." but you and I know what's going on. It's a pretty safe bet as to who these guys are.
Anything is possible, however highly unlikely.
Considering one gunmen is dead after he was shot at the National War Memorial and another one or two were shooting up the inside of the Parliament Building, it's safe to say there was more than one.
Didn't they shoot one of the shooters?

Solider who was shot while standing guard at the cenotaph at the War Memorial has died. F'ing terrorist!
CBC and CNN report that shooter at war memorial who went to Parliament Hill was shot and killed (confirmed my employees and MPs inside Commons), but RCMP won't confirm yet because of ongoing investigation.
Later shooting at Rideau Centre....so can't be a lone gunman.

The soldier who was shot at the cenotaph has now died. This begs the question, when Harper sent us to war in the Middle East didn't he foresee something like this happening?
A close up eye witness reports he saw the shooter fire at the soldier from a distance then stood right over him and fired twice into his chest. Then raised his arms to sky in victory-like fashion and then fired shot into the sky. The unarmed soldier didn't stand a chance. RIP

There's also shootings at the Rideau Center Mall. Obviously this was a well planned and co-ordinated assault.
