It is admirable of him to take calls, etc. in his down time. Just like it would be for any person who's very sick to carry on their day to day functions.

I havent heard in the news that the cancer "spread to multiple organs".

It's actuAlly a mass in the fatty tissues. Organs not affected yet.

The fact that they aren't operating and just using chemo seems to indicate that they are worried about its spread, and it seems this one is largely cured by surgery.
My guess is that its spread, the chemo won't do too much but he'll have an operation to try to remove the main one but that it will prove systematic and his large fat deposits will prove too nice a home for more cells.
Of course I'm not a doctor, I only play one with SP's.

It may sound far-fetched but it wouldn't surprise me in the least.
That was something that had been reported by the news, well it was reported a biopsy had been done there. In fact they had to perform a second biopsy in the abdominal area due mainly to the origional sample had to much necrotic tissue to be conclusive.
And yes I'm glad too. It makes a huge difference to the prognosis.
It was also incorrectly reported he had a tumour removed from his appendix back in 2010. I still go back to the fact that he'd been complaining of pain for 3 months but never got it checked out. Had he done so, he would've had a 3 month head start on chemo which could only help. The sooner the better as they say.
I think Groggy is cheering for the cancer. Based on his support of terrorism and his dislike of democracy my guess is that he sees death and physical harm as a good solution to political disagreement.
I want Rob Ford defeated at the ballot box because his ideas have been rejected by the voters. In a democracy, we are strongest when our political enemies are alive and well and outspoken but still unable to win an election. It isn't much of a democratic race when the other guy dies.
According to Dr. Zane Cohen, the plan of action with this type of cancer is to do chemo first. I'm sure they guy knows what he's talking about.
