I prefer a dark roast and I buy the beans whole.

Typically Canadian, sell the people shit and they will come. Timmy's is still after me for my skidmarked briefs to filter their coffee through.

I am a tea drinker most of the time. Orange pekoe ta bags with a sprinkle of Oolong tea leaves. Sometimes Earl Grey Tea with half and half of condensed milk and whole milk. There is not a commercially available fresh brewed coffee that I like so much that drink it regularly. I have to make my own to my liking. Get a can of Presidents Choice coffee in the gold can, and get some high quality whole coffee beans. Roast the coffee beans in a wok and let cool before you grind and mix into your PC coffee. Depending on the coffee bean you ad you can make your coffee stronger, more mellow or add mocha flavors.

McDonald's coffee is better than Tim Horton's coffee (not just my own opinion).

But I still go to Timmies, and will try this dark roast.

How did this company with its horrible products sucker so many people? Also really ticks me off when they present themselves as some sort of staple of Canadian culture, you're a business that peddles crap coffee and baked goods!!!!

Tried one today. Better than their regular brew but still not quite flavorful enough.
Agreed. Now I got a regular but it still didn't taste that much stronger than a normal cup of Tims. Right now i'm liking the various dark brews from Second Cup.

Apparently dark coffee is dropping significantly in sales. Which is why it's weird for Tims to come out with it now.

I'm not sure why this franchise keeps trying different things. They obviously have the coffee and donut market captured. Does anyone go to TH and NOT have a coffee?

Remember McDonald's Pizza? It was good, but who would go to Chez Ron for pizza?

If I want an "exotic" coffee, I'll go to the local coffee shop or Starbucks; if I want the usual, I'll go to Timmys...or make it myself.

Agreed, but a lot of times outside of toronto or other major cities your options are tims or caffeine pills. Since their coffee to me is flavourless swill, I'm glad they have some options.

Yes. I'll get a sandwich or breakfast and then go to a local coffee shop for a drink.

Only time I drink timmies is on road trips.
Exactly...I really like their breakfast stuff...for fast food anyway

i really have always liked their lunch stuff e.g. chicken soup, (esp when sick, and can't make it to Yitz's) chilli con carne, grilled cheese paninis.

...Not a donut guy, and have NEVER liked their watery coffee, till now with the espresso shot.
