Sad because that movie was about 30 years ago.
I was a teenager back then, now, well, I'm 30 years older too. And that's the sad part.
But I'll never forget that scene. I saw FTARH in the theatre in Hamilton and as that scene was developing, I was thinking it was going to cut just at the crucial moment, but fortunately, it did not and I'll never forget it.
True story.....
At the end of the movie, the guy and his wife behind me want to stay and watch the credits and he says "hang on, I want to see who played Spicolli. Sean Penn. Remember that name, he's going to be famous"
