1. Women are catty about other women, especially when it comes to men.
2. Why shouldn't she talk about getting beaten up when there are criminal charges pending? Especially when both she and the asshole are (small time) public figures.
3. Because the other guy was in a great deal of pain and shock and probably headed straight to Emergency? And Christy herself may have figured she was not going to get beaten - at least not badly - and kind of enjoyed the drama and told Guy #2 not to call the cops and that everything would be fine? And because WM told the other guy he would come for him and kill him if he told anyone?
Yupper.

I haven't experienced any situation that I can recall in mainstream life thus far that would warrant hitting a woman (fortunately we live in a polite society where violence is rarely required), but I have had situations with BP escorts (perhaps 1% or less) who are in the business of robbery and violence. If not for the legal ramifications of giving another person a beatdown, I would have partaken in beating these women without flinching - to get my money back, if nothing else. But knowing the legal consequences stopped me in my tracks, not some 'sexist' belief taught to me from my old man. I might not beat a woman as severely as a man under the same circumstances, maybe because I suffer from a little bit of subconscious sexism, but I would most certainly have hit them.
Yeah, your name isn't really a lie is it..

You want your money back? Call the cops Smallcock.. If they don't do anything about it.. Oh well, that's what you get for trying to save a few bucks by seeing some sketchy skank you found on backpages.. Getting fucked over when you're doing something shady doesn't give you the right to hit a woman..

What you're talking about is using your (debatable) superior strength (instead of your brains) to get back which you feel is yours.. It's the easy way, and it's pathetic..

Call the cops and tell them I was with an escort? lol That sounds like a comedy sketch more than anything mirroring reality.

Sorry, no innocent person "deserves" to get robbed and it's not "shady" to book from BP, and women advertising on BP are not "skanks". You have many sexist preconceptions of your own.

There is no debate. If somebody robs me, it's my money that they have and it belongs to me.

If there is a thing called karma, as a previous poster suggested, your defense of robbery and violence when it suits your sexist agenda will come back to haunt you in the future.

Right. Someone who uses on line classified ads deserves to get robbed. Women never deseved to get hit.

Fail on double standard of who deserves bad shit to happen to them on the basis of gender.
Fail on the double standard of holding one gender fully accountable for their actions and holding another gender completely unaccountable for what happens to them.

I am not suprised really. Except where it actually benifits women we haven't really moved much from the old days when women couldn't vote, hold property or enter contracts.
It's not just about women, it's about people in general. Don't ever hit anybody that you're really going to hurt by hitting them.. It's called "BEING the bigger man" not just feeling like it BECAUSE you hit somebody..

They got your money, so call the cops.. Right now there's nothing illegal about seeing an escort, but there is something illegal about robbery and/or extortion.. If you don't want to call the cops, then that's your call.. But you had the option to solve things without violence, and you want to turn to violence and still be able to walk outta there feeling like you did the right thing?? Good luck with that. It ain't gonna happen.. Maybe YOU will feel like you did the right thing, but to anybody with a brain (and a dick bigger than a roll of nickels) you'll just look like the dude who beat up a hooker (and nobody's gonna care why)..

Absurd.

The lack of self-awareness and the level of gender-based biases of the average citizen is deeply regrettable.

The pendulum will eventually swing in favor of logic, reason, equality, and fairness. Maybe not in our lifetimes.

Just for the record, I've had 3 different women over the years punch me.

The first time was a complete and utter shock. I was maybe 20 and horsing around on the beach with my then GF. Picked her up in my arms and ran into the water with her (thinking that's what she would like). She stood up in the water and nailed me right in the head.

Second time, huge argument with the then GF. She just snapped and came at me like a bull. (Despite her being a lot smaller than me, she was pretty strong.)

third time, oh maybe 10 years ago, I dumped this nutbar chick and she just launched at me with fists flying.

In none of the above cases did I retaliate (well, the third one I opened the car door and pushed her out after she duked me a few times)

I guess what I'm saying is don't kid yourselves, women attack physically too and due to the double standard, rarely if ever get charged.

Uhhh.. Understanding that ladies who post on backpages are generally lower class ladies (skanks in my opinion) than the ladies who take the time to develop their own websites, grow their client base, spend time on sites like terb, etc.,. has nothing to do with sexism.. I don't even know where you could come up with this fucked up logic...

I am starting to lose faith in humanity the more I say on forums. In the last couple of weeks there have been threads justifying rape from strangers to wife, justifications on hitting people {male or female}

I don't get where people come up with some of these thoughts and opinions.

This is in no way an intelligible argument..

But Karma's an interesting word you keep using.. You seem to think it will catch up with everybody, but you yourself would want to bring the smack down on a woman (on average 30 pounds lighter and 6" shorter than you) because she wronged you in some way that you feel entitles her to a beating...

I guess you're one of these "Karma for you, nothing for me" kinda dudes...

You hear if all the time from wife beater types... "She had it coming"...

I'm telling you that your threshold for giving to her what "she had coming" is incredibly low (certainly a shit load lower than mine), and the only difference between you and this Micro Penis War Hammer dude is that you have a different threshold for what a woman must do before she gets what "she had coming".

The goal should be to not have a threshold. To always know that you're stronger, and to be able to walk away knowing that it's the right thing to do. I'm not saying allow yourself to be the victim, but since when does not allowing yourself to be a victim involve making somebody else the victim instead?

Why do I think this thread will disappear just like the rape one? (Which I think is a shame because keeping these threads maintains a 'permanent' record of the vile thoughts some members post.)

There are a lot of insecure beta males on this board who obviously resent women, but that try to hide behind the "double standard" argument when called on their thinly-veiled misogyny. I feel for any women that know these knuckle-draggers in their personal or professional lives.

Yeesh. It doesn't matter if they were together since May or not. No one deserves to get beaten, including the guy who was there. Being a cheater or a bitch doesn't mean she should be beaten. Your apportioning blame seems to imply that she deserves it. I strongly disagree with that.

Of course there are always 3 sides to any story & we're not getting all of it. But unless one or both of them came at him with a weapon, he had no call to beat them. And if it happened this way, why run?
Are you incapable of reading? Where did I ever say it excused him? In fact, I specifically said it DIDN'T excuse him. Did I ever say she deserved to be beaten?

All I said was that a man's responsibility to NOT hit a woman does not relieve a woman of responsibility to not be a bitch. If a man beats up a woman, he's wrong. Period. End of the discussion with respect to his responsibility. If a woman plays bitchy games, she's wrong. Period. End of discussion with respect to her actions.

If a man is with a woman who is bitchy and plays fucked up games, that doesn't give him the right to beat her up. If a woman is with a man who beats up his girl, that doesn't give her the right to play fucked up games. In either case, the "good" person's obligation would be to walk away from the relationship.

By placing ALL the blame and responsibility on the man, you are effectively saying that women just aren't bright enough or moral enough to carry any responsibility for their actions. That's just fucking stupid.

Maybe.

Or maybe not.

We'll know once Dog the Bounty Hunter catches him.
