1.) There is not ever an excuse to hit a woman.
2.) Some women (and I'm not saying that's what happened here) push it on purpose, knowing #1.
Replace "hit a woman" with "take her without permission", and it all still applies.
I'm not excusing the man's behavior and I'm not placing blame on the victim. There is no excuse. Zero. On the other side of the equation, the Bad Thing will happen more often to a woman who chooses to push things than it would to a woman who treats men with the same respect (given gender differences) that men should treat women with. There's a two way street in respect, here. We KNOW the male who is a big enough douche to change his name to War Machine (that's a pretty douchey name even if you've gone to war, not as someone who's been expelled from a military academy). We do not know if the female in the equation crossed the respect line or not.
Given Douchebag's posts, he seemed to think he and Mack were still in a relationship. That's the key point, here, with respect to her behavior. Again, her behavior has no bearing on whether or not "War Machine" is at fault and an asshole: he quite obviously is on both counts. Whether Mack was a bitch or nor comes down to whether they were still together or, as she's stated, they hadn't been together since May.
