Still here just not much to review unfortunately. Miss some of the legends in the super wet soaker variety that is always my search.

Blame the silly format change. Guelph, Cambridge and Kitchener 9 sub forums? Should have listened to us when we said it sucked. Good for the blue board traffic though. Why not trial Guelph, Kitchener and Cambrdge in 1 forum again? At this point you have nothing left to lose.

Exactly right. Seldom check here because it's just too much trouble. Lots of traffic and info elsewhere as noted.
Too bad the mods ignored our advice, this used to be one of the heaviest visited forums.

I have to agree with you, Stash - I too have been away for a time, and I'm appalled at how dead this section is now. There are virtually tumbleweeds rolling through this part of TERB. It's kind of sad, really, especially since this section was *so* vibrant back in 2008, 2009, and 2010. As an SP considering a comeback, I'm no longer sure that my advertising dollars would be well-spent to making my name turn blue again here.

STASH, Thumper18474, Trinbal: It's good to see you guys are still here. :) (I find it interesting that you, STASH, came back at exactly the same time I did! Co-incidence? Or do you have some kind of "returning SP" radar, lol?)

As for the rest of my old friends here:

Bottomhammer, coolcat, smtmtd1, bone_man, Bopper43, kinks_r_us, dsc, panther1763, terpene, backbeat, and anyone else I may have forgotten ... Are any of you guys still around??? It would make me very sad to think that you guys might all be gone. *sigh*

Lynn's right - the redistributing of this place was a *very* bad idea. I recall that, back when this section was K-W/Cambridge/Guelph/Brantford (can't remember if Woodstock was part of it, but I *think* it was), every one of those four cities (five if you count Woodstock) only had 2-3 new threads a week (Brantford and Woodstock even less, more like one a week there), but when combined, it was more than enough to make the united board a very active, fun place to visit every day. But now, with "every man (city) for himself" seeming to be the philosophy around here, the cities on their own don't generate enough activity to make them worthwhile. In this humble SP's opinion, Humpty Dumpty should be put back together again. But what do I know, I only worked out of that old united section for three years ... *sarcasm*

Let's hope the "powers that be" decide to fix things. *fingers crossed*

Thanks for the warm welcome, Artie. I'm glad that at least a few of the hobbyists I remember are still kicking around (although you and I never had the pleasure of meeting). And I remember that thread, of course, lol - I commented on it! I didn't even have to click the link to remember that one. ;)

I'm sorry to hear about bullies driving the ladies away. I, for one, did not leave because of that, I just needed to take a break for real-life reasons, so I was surprised when I came back not only to see how dead it is here, but that it was partly because of these bad people (although I honestly believe that the horrible re-organization that split apart all the cities is the biggest culprit). Can you enlighten me a bit on exactly *who* the bullies were, and what they were doing?? It sounds like a sad story all in all ...

Sure was fun here at a time in the past. I liked the " Hammer Time " days. I was quite bad back then lol
