So, do you all remember that "Everybody Loves Raymond" episode when Ray and Debra fall out of bed during sex and Ray hurts his wrist? He brags to his friends about his "sex injury" and, of course, hilarity ensues.

Well, it happened to me. And it's cramping my style today.

On Monday I saw a girl at the friendly, neighbourhood massage parlour. It was a little rougher than I'm used to, she's a very athletic and strong girl, and she handled my delicate parts a little more aggressively than she should have I guess. Now, I had no complaint at the time, and a little rougher worked just fine for me. I was very happy with the session.

Monday night as I was peeing before going to bed I noticed a little purple mark at the base of my penis. Hmm. I went to bed and slept without worrying about it. Then, when I woke up in the morning and looked down I was horrified at what I saw.

A red, purple and blue penis. Just at the base, but it's still horrible! Shit! A terrible bruise kind of in the shape of the MPA's thumb. Talk about an unwanted souvenir...

I knew there was no hiding this from my wife unless it clears up before she sees me naked. Fortunately we had had sex on Sunday night--yes, I would not have normally gone to the massage parlour the next day, but Monday was my birthday and I wanted my free door fee. So, although it wasn't rough with my wife when we had sex I told her well, I guess I bent it funny or something, because look at this! She was suitably shocked, and I don't think suspects that it wasn't her that did it.

Today, I would probably go and see my regular SP. Except my penis looks like a grape lollipop. Sigh. She knows me, and knows that it doesn't normally look like that, but still... I guess the smart thing to do would be to just keep it in my pants and let it heal. Maybe Friday? Jeez...

Something similar happened to me years ago at with a MPA. Still remember her.

She yanked back and forth so hard I thought she was going to rip it from its base. Like you said, at the time it didn't seem that bad, but by the time she was done she managed to put some good sized rips in my foreskin - enough to leave me bloody and stinging.

Wasn't visible as yours sounds but I still had go on the disabled list and had to have a migraine for the entire week at home.

I know guys here will joke and poke fun at your injury, but they can be serious. I saw go to your doc maybe a walk in clinic if you don't want to explain it to your doctor. the longer you leave it untreated it could build scar tissue and maybe bend or in the future you won't full erect.

A urologist is the only trained doctor in penis injuries. you might end up seeing one depending on how bad it is. Maybe the hassle free clinic could help.

I invited the joking and poking fun when I compared myself to a sitcom I think. I don't mind at all.

Do you really think it could be serious? It doesn't hurt at all, and really, it's just a red and purple mark, like a thumb print on the base. Just looks like a bruise. It really doesn't look too serious at all, but all my medical training came from doctor shows on television. I don't actually remember ever seeing this affliction covered on "House".

Its probably just some micro tears in the blood vessels around the dick....I doubt its anything serious..but you should take yourself outta the game for a week or so...when blood pools under the skin it takes awhile for It to dissipate. .so it may be there for awhile...if you find it is starting to harden or you find a lump where the bruising was...its hardened and THAT might be an issue.
Give It a week...

I don't think its anything to worry about if there is no significant pain.
Do yourself a favour, put yourself on the DL for at least a week to be safe.
Just remember the bruises will turn yellow/green as they heal. Nothing like a technicolor dick, eh?

I agree - but really what to give those tears a chance to heal because they will be under pressure and may rupture starting the cycle all over again. I suggest a splint and no sex for the next 8 weeks. :hand:

I've lived it, it was a horrible experience, so I am always cautious on penis injuries guys always think they can walk it off and he ended up in the hospital with 16 stitches and no sex for 6 to 8 weeks.

So it is really up to you if you want to just think the bruise will go away without long term effects.

I hope it heals well.

I don't know if this counts but.......

But seriously, if it doesn't hurt and it functions properly it's just a bruise and will go away over time. You shouldn't be worried about having sex. If you had bruises on your arms or legs would you stop using them until they went away?
