Can the Attorney Generals of each province choose to selectively ignore or enforce certain parts of the proposed new law and if so, what can the federal government do about it? Since the government has effectively ignored the Supreme Court of Canada's Ruling in composing the new laws, can the provinces do the same to Ottawa as the ongoing pissing match between Harper and the SOC continues? It seems now that the only laws being enforced now are the human trafficking or underaged laws. Since prostitution is a neccessary and perpetual evil, never to be eradicated, in a relativiely liberal country like Canada, whatever legislation is on the books will always be heading to the Supreme Court of Canada for legal arguments from now on.
