1. You're gorgeous and I had such an awesome time with you
2. I see where you're coming from but I would maybe have kept that opinion to myself....
I had great times with you and maybe you right but sometimes we have to talk about the problems. I knew when I posted that, and I knew maybe I created a 10 page thread against me but come on.
Just because we don't talk about this problem and just sweep under the rug it doesn't mean its not true. I'm not against Indian clients. If I am I won't take them. I just wrote this because maybe it's helpful to change their style. My time is not less important then theirs. The attitude what must be changeable and their mind what they thinking about us. " Oh you are just a fucking hooker so who care your time?" I got this or a similar comment not once but a few times in the past years and trust me I have several years experience in this business. You except to respect your time so we just ask the same. Our job is not less important then anyone else's job. We keep out every day 10 thousand blue balled, depressed guys from the streets of Toronto. I think this is very nice result of our job so we deserve a little more respect. :)

Not for nothing...nice of you to say there is no way you remember me :D.

It was 5 years ago and while I didn't mention this to you, I had been dumped by a long term GF two days before I saw you and was pretty bummed. Magically after leaving your place, I felt 100% better and never looked back.

Turns out you were the medicine I needed :)

It sounded like an Aunt Flo's day with the OP:eyebrows:
Give her a day she will get over 'what's the hell happens to my business' kind of feelings. Honestly, this type of thread won't help you in the long run. The guys who are reading this will know your weakness and they will keep doing the 'miss appointment thing' to you till you cannot..breath I guess. There are people whose taking pleasure from inflicting life misery to others. You chanel your energy a wrong way. Instead, should ask yourself how much money should you need to make today to make yourself happy. I am a businessman so I know exactly how you feel on the 'do' and 'don't' of customer services.
Be Happy and Don't Sweat on small stuff:D

Oh my! Welcome to the multicultural world. About 30 years ago when I first went to India I was commanded to take cultural awareness training. One of the hardest things for me was to wrap my head around the idea that NOT Haggling was an insult. Utterly alien to my mindset but experience taught me it was true. Next hardest was their cast system. In Canada I adopted the "oh you want to haggle? The price just went up 5%. Haggle long enough and it will get to double. It does not always work, but sometimes it does and it always makes me feel better :).

To quote a friend who was raised there.... "It is not personal, and you are slightly better than an untouchable :) "

Best of luck.
"When in Rome do as the Romans do."

If I ever go to India I'll haggling, because I don't want to insult them, but I expect the same behaviour from them. So don't haggling because it's insulting me .

I am not faulting you at all. Just pointing out that men who grew up in an environment where they were taught escorts are..... well not exactly equal to them will struggle to accept "we are all equal". Equal is a foreign concept.

Do I have a point? I guess I am just saying people do not switch their core beliefs instantly because they are in a new country, To quote an old friend, "If you invite a cannibal to supper, do not be surprised he is eying the lady fingers " <<< Joke.

So I offer my sympathies, Welcome to the global village.

Comes from spending a lot of time in academia and being a social nomad. Live in more than 5 countries and wit is the only option to...... :frusty::frusty:

That particular old friend was discussing rape in India at the time. So I guess I should be praising her resilience and tolerance.

Haggling in a rug store or haggling with a service provider is a big different. Here is problem what many people don't understand:

I'm waiting for you in my place. I'm friendly, sexy and happy because you come here and I want to give you my best. When you try to haggling I feel embarassed , and lost my interest about you immediately. I don't want you as a customer anymore and doesn't matter if you offer the full price after the haggling. That's why I send out the hagglers immediately. I never want to fuck Alan Harpers ever:)

I promise that if I ever see you I will not haggle, and will even put the payment in a thank you card so it feels more like a thank you for the gift you are giving. If I ever manage to find out what an appropriate tip is, I will give it to with a smile.

I get it.

A lot of cultures bring their baggage with them when they change countries. The behaviour you are seeing is typical and what most have grown up with. As you said, "When in Rome......" sadly many do not follow that simple truth.

I feel terrible for you. I feel terrible for anyone offended by other cultures. I am not wise enough to suggest an alternative. If you want to have a Canadian experience.... avoid booking people with accents?

:)

I got it for long time . I'm understand their behaviour and I accept it. I'm sure you are a nice guy and I never offended you. I'm still booking Indian guys with accent ( I have accent too...lol ) and I happy to serve them. I just to try to change their mind. We are humans with soul and emotions . Don't treat us like a lifeless object and respect our time our prices and schedule. That's it! I don't think it's too much to ask, right?
