Bradley Orr, Morrow , Caldwell , Henry/Agbousamande with Morgan ,Elmer , and Richter.... Caldwel is strong, experienced defender (but not very skilled, but who cares, just defend).. Orr is known for his toughness as well as his dirty play( i like that) ,Morrow is a solid defender(young but has skills and will be a threst to push forward) Henry ( not impressed ) will need to up his game, Agbousamande ( good pace, defends decently but not as well as Caldwell) showed signs of promise , but is also inexperienced and will need to defend better.... Morgan was a major disapointment and will be playing for his career if there is no imporvement.. Elmer and Richter are question marks , although Richter looked out classed last season, while Elmer didnt play enough for me to have an opinion...

overall i give them a C+... this team didnt really need the attacking players they went after..but hopefully the new offensive threats will camoflage the defensive liabilities from last years team

FUCK!

Isuna scissor tackles De Sciglio taking him out of the match and only gets a yellow card. In Serie A that's an automatic red card.

I couldn't watch the Utd game but based on the result and some of the reactions, it all seems dire and reminiscent of 2005 against Benfica. Oh well, hopefully we are up for it in the second leg.

Never thought I'd see a downfall of that capacity from one season to a next by simply changing managers. I'm not a United fan, but would much rather see them up there over Man City & Chelsea. Miles away from 4th place now...have to get their summer transfer business done right or they could miss out on CL for years (see Liverpool).

ManU is going Berlusconi, like the Rossoneri they wont be taking part in the CL next year - that will be a shock.

SHREK SPEAKS, I must have been an effort for him! Davide Berradi looks like Ian Rush.

Indeed it’s difficult to fathom, I guess no one realized what a huge impact Sir Alex had on the United’s mindset going into a game, the fear factor has disappeared for sure, particularly at Old Trafford where Man U were almost invincible. Man U are my second favourite team after Burnley, my home town.

Milan just can't keep their futures healthy, their prospects would improve considerably against Atletico if El Sharaaway and Cristante were in the line-up.

Of the three "golden boys" only De Sciglio will be at the Calderon. Cristante is being groomed as their next Pirlo, and they did play considerably better when he was in the line-up. Born in Italy to Canadian parents, they have seen to that he has Canadian Citizenship. If only De Jong and Essien were younger that would be a formidable midfield.

So, we face Bayern in the quarter finals of the CL.

I don't have much hope for the tie but anything is possible. Going to savor every sec of CL football that is left for us for couple of years. :(

PSG 3 Chelsea 1

So ********** Verratti, Andrea Pirlo's heir apparent, appears to rounding in to form. I'm still not entirely convinced, he has more physical talent than Pirlo but lacks the bearded one's depth of perception. PSG want Pogba for next season but Juve have stated that there's no deal unless Verratti comes to Torino. If PSG get to the Final that's not going to happen. Pogba is a brilliant trequartista but, like Kaka before him, it remains to be seen what he can do without Pirlo.

Goodnight Man U. You were valiant opponents, but nothing lasts forever.

Is Diego Simeone, David Beckham's bosom buddy, the most under-rated coach in football? And is Mourinho still the special one - Simeone was his assistant in 2009-10.

Nice choke job by PSG, the strikers took a crap on the pitch.

We were in with a shout in the Bayern game after we scored. But 30 seconds later, we conceded and Bayern woke up, finished the game with relative ease. Carrick and Rooney had subpar performance. It was obvious Rooney wasn't fully fit but why doesn't Moyes have the cajones to sub him off and put on Hernandez ?

If Moyes doesn't win the title next season, assuming he is still employed, he will certainly be gone.

At this point I don't know why Inter would want Vidic?
Vidic would be a smart buy because the pace in Serie A has fallen quite a bit over last 10 years. If Gervinho cant start for Arsenal but be a star on Roma, that tells you a lot.

Vidic playing for Inter is the perfect place for him to play out his remaining days till retirement
