you are describing Rob Ford. Olivia unlike Rob actually grew up poor with Parents struggling to make ends meet. Rob was born into a rich family.

I really like Olivia, I know I have voted for her before.
The truth is that she is inept.
Watch how this election campaign will unfold. She can only win in friendly ridings and neighbourhoods. In hostile neighbourhoods, people won't even give her the time of day.
As long as she is "inept" at being a crack-smoking drunk-driving attention whore like the current office holder, she'll get my vote.

She was very involved. I wouldn't say "capable". She simply loved (loves) the spotlight and would always be front and centre at the cause du jour.

Or my favorite David Miller "save the planet idea", spend 200k to collect rain water from the roof of a CNE building to flush 2 toilets, that was genius. Not to mention the 35 million not to build a 22 million dollar bridge to the island.
