Extend last call to 4am?

A group wants to do this. they have put out a website asking the public to back it. I know and see alot of people (Bartenders, waitresses, whores, party people) that just want to keep partying and drinking after the bars close.. Yeah what goes on in those places should stay in those places. Lots of hot girls in that scene i'll tell ya.

This question comes around every few years and doesn't live long. It's not like the bars are going to make any more money and most of the people who would go aren't big spenders and usually have little else to do.

Can't say I've close many bars in recent years, but usually by the tine it's closing time in neighbourhood bars, the staff are ready to go home, many because they have to work again tomorrow.

I wonder if they should go with something like they have in Chicago. Some places(restaurants) are only licenced until 11pm but can open during the day. Other have to open later(I think 9pm but could be wrong) but can go until 4am.

The reasoning I believe is to indentify drunks by making them switch locations to continue drinking. I tmight wok by restricting it to nightclubs. We already do it for several places during festival so I don't see an issue with it.

My thought is to wonder what is your reason for starting this nonsense thread. Can't help thinking it's just so you can take the opportunity to call certain ladies whores.

Labelling a lady as a whore says little about her, but everything about you. Labelling people saves you having to think. You don't have to see anything about the person, beyond the label.

If your own (grown up) daughter decided she would like to earn a living that way, would you not support her in that? Or would you call her a whore, and disown her? Don't you mind if other ignorant little boys include your own beautiful daughter among the "lots of hot girls"?

I believe in Quebec its 3am last call and the results are more drunks and more fights in the streets. Same with Nova Scotia where last call is 4am. Bad policy.
