In a place far, far away
I get screwed on a regular basis almost every day. Some days I have time to apply some Vaseline. I have a job and get paid.

I used to work for a woman who, while closing on 40, was reasonably hot, lots of fun, sparkling personality. We went on a few business trips, there were a few nights in the hotel bar where we really got along well. I think it was possible, I think she was looking for some outside fun, but even drunk I realized sleeping with my married boss was a career limiting move. Really enjoyed working with her though. Smart and fun.

I would go out for incalls sometimes on those trips to control my urges around her so i could stay in my swimlane.

Many years ago I went for an interview. we got on very well and he invited me back to his hotel to use the hotel swimming pool (I was young and naïve!). Anyway I went back had a nice swim and then was showering in his bathroom. Much to my horror he came in naked with his wrinkled dick in his hand and offered to scrub my back - I am male btw. Anyway I never took off so fast in my life.

needless to say I never got the job.

Awkward! I don't think you would have enjoyed the type of job he clearly had in mind for you.

between a rock and a hard place
So I have started to apply again for jobs that I can put on my résumé. I'm not quite ready to leave the escort business, but it would be nice to have something for the books. I applied for an Office Manager position and got back an email response asking for a little more information about me. In the body of the email the potential employer mentioned he wanted someone to work with him on a personal level. So I completely missed the hint "personal level". I responded by stating the experience and educational background I have and how well I could perform the job. So the potential employer further broke things down for me. He wants someone who can be an office manager and also please him ?.

Lol! If only he knew that he could get my list of services at Naughty Nuru, along with pictures. I'm also sure there would be some terbies that would attest to my service skills. My desire to go above and beyond to ensure maximum satisfaction. I mean seriously has he ever heard of an escort? I'm not gonna lie I thought about accepting the job offer. The compensation if to be believed was pretty good. Then I thought better of it. My sexy alter ego and the working professional should never meet. The job hunt continues needless to say.

Anyone else have any crazy or different job hunting stories?
The employer started hinting about you pleasing him sexually before it even got to an interview, and he had no prior knowledge that you're an escort. That's a pretty big coincidence.

Also, you're not ready to give up being an SP yet, but you want a legit job on your resume, and you got offered a legit job where you'd be paid extra for being an SP, and you turned this down? That sounds like two birds, one stone.

His exact words were he is a busy business professional and does not get out much to mingle, so I am hoping to find someone who can fulfill both roles. I just read between the lines lol. He also wanted a recent picture of me.
With the wonders of Facebook you could have obtained a picture of his wife and submitted that with a note that you will be starting at 25% increased salary on Monday and pick up the 2 month signing bonus then.

I don't want my real name and info associated with escorting. A fear of the two worlds colliding. Maybe I'm just paranoid but didn't feel comfortable with it.

It always annoyed me when I would see ads looking for office employees that would offer extras. They would look for someone with qualifications, and want extras on top of that. What these idiots don't seem to realize is that one could make more money in the sex trade alone or work a regular office job and make as much. Why would anyone with half a brain agree to what they are offering?

I would suggest to all working girls that want to leave at some point, to continue going to school while being here. That way it is easy to explain gaps in the resume. You can do online schooling through most of the major universities across the country.

Eventually I got out by making as much before taxes as I did in the sex trade, and know that will go up considerably in the coming years as the rest of my education finishes. It can be done.

Smart girl.

Also some good advice from this lady:

Sounds like a very foolish man and you're best off not working for him. In this day and age he is taking a huge risk to express that sort of request as an employer, especially as he didn't know you in any way.

You could have easily accepted the job, led him on a little to get him to make a mistake, and then sued him for a bundle; not to mention besmirch his professional reputation. You showed class by just walking away. I wonder if he'll continue to be so lucky.

Things may just catch up to him. I'm sure I'm not the only lady he tried this on.

Not sure I see this as a big coincidence at all, I know very few ladies that have not been approached in their early careers at some point with some sort of sexual overture and as has been pointed out by one poster in this thread it also has happened to at least one male by another male in a position of power over them. Sadly it's not uncommon.

I don't have a problem with people that wish to pursue a sexual relationship with someone on equal standing but the fact of the matter is when you hold someones future, their career, in the balance then you really shouldn't pursue a sexual relationship with them not if they are your direct report as they have little to no recourse should they find themselves in a position where they do not wish to continue on the path they are on. One shouldn't feel like they have to choose between continuing with unwanted sexual advances and food on the table and sadly that may (note I said may) be the position a person will find themselves in.

To the OP, it's actually not terribly hard to explain gaps in the resume if you need to but having schooling and relevant experience for the job you are applying for will definitely matter. When you go in if you are asked about some time off be as close to the truth as you can be, fill your time doing this work with other outside activities but do let your potential employer know if you were taking some time off to help out with family (raising children, elderly parents, caring for a sick relative, a new nephew or niece, etc.) or perhaps you yourself took some time off due to an illness - now managed of course, you didn't want to burden your supervisor with holding a spot indefinitely while you were recovering from an injury or perhaps getting some tests done, or perhaps you were volunteering as you wanted to expand your horizons and find meaningful work beyond your previous experience. Whatever the reason it's okay to have a resume gap, just fill your time with something and let them know that you didn't just stagnate, you did something to improve your value as a person and as a part of a team, that will matter to the person hiring. Companies are made up of people and they all understand that sometimes there will be resume gaps intentional or unintentional as even those at the C-level are sometimes off for an indefinite period of time (though it may say "consultant" and be listed under their own name then ;) ) it's what you do with that time and how you present it that will really matter in your interview.

Okay back to the original topic now - yes I've had more than a few people think they can approach me with jobs that would include sexual favours, in general they rethink that pretty quickly. I'm not very tolerant of sexual harassment in the workplace.
