Dear friends,
I'd like to add my 2 cents to the Cuban myth.....as I call it.

I have Cuban friends that are well connected and even come to Canada to purchase goods to bring back to Cuba, all live in Habana where I go to when I have a chance to travel to Cuba; never been to any of the resorts, I go to Habana and stay there, at El Presidente Hotel or another I can't recall right now....LOL age and a lot of stuff going on prevent me from remembering but it will come.....

So to the girls, well it is interesting, I've been to the Melia Habana Hotel for example and they all hang out by the lobby; they are allowed in but that's it; you can approach them as they all look yummy and will smile and call you "papi.." so the first thing they do is ask you if it is your first time in Cuba, if you say "Yes" you are done, they will ask you for $100 USD .... right from the start..... if you say "No." then they know you know the system...... Max $40CUC for a great looking woman... now the Hotel doesn't allow then into your room and you cannot even try to skip the security guys that are always standing by the Elevators; they usually charge $50 to $60CUC just so you can take the girl up.... and only for 1 hour.... I've never tried it but I did my research.... So the best thing is to they tell you to go to a "casa" a house they have arrangements with where the rooms are no more than $10CUC but they tell you it is another $40CUC.... but the truth is...give them $20 CUC and now you got a room.... IF the girl likes you she will fuck you as long as you can keep it hard....an hour and half has been my top due to the heat and lack of A/C it was hot and humid..... The cars the girls use to go to the "casa" is usually a friend that also gets part of the action so in total yes it will cost you $40cuc (girl) + $20cuc (casa) + $20cuc (driver) about $80cuc which is about $85 to $90 USD.... per girl....

Now there are a few "discos" you can go for Salsa dancing where you can meet locals that may date you while you are there and you give them gifts and so but that is all, you buy drinks, a bottle of Havana Club Rum is about $10 CUC if I remember correctly... and that is how it works.

They have a system and trust everyone that has been there more than once, specially in Habana, where the girls hang out, they know the people...and they know a tourist is not there longer than a week or 10 days tops; so they have 10 days to live good, then is the NEXT tourist.... plain and simple.

The gifts you can bring like toothpaste, deodorants, t-shirts, Tylenol and cheap dollar store nail polish is good to give the hotel maids and anyone else you may feel like but it will not even get you a blow job......

Bring your own rubbers from Canada..... and make sure you get lots!! and save your $$ don't rush with the first girl.... wait until the end of the nite, when bar is closing girls are reducing their fees....

Also, stay away from the 18year olds.... they can be 16 with fake ID's.... and those will get you to a nice and comfy cuban jail where you will spend quite sometime.

I love going to Habana and hanging out with my buddies at the Habana Club.... nice private club with the best food in Cuba.

Go to Old Habana and you will find lots of girls, you can walk around all over Habana, Old and New and it is safe!!!!! people are friendly... I do speak spanish so I have an advantadge but still they know I am not Cuban.

If you go in August, they have a Carnaval the whole month, it is party time with CHEAP beer!... 1 CUC x beer and you can walk around with it; Buccanero is my favorite beer there....for $5cuc you can get pretty loaded and add a few shots or rum and enjoy a good cigar!

Don't buy cigars from the streets!!! they give you shit and don't look for Weed or Coke...or you will end up...well..... either in Jail or in an emergency room !! my buddy didn't listen.... and almost get his nose amputated!!...LOL.

Enjoy Cuba!! it is great! specially Habana..... and YES! the cops know the regulars that hang out on the tourist areas.

I my last trip, I met a canadian girl traveling alone just like I was and we stayed at the same hotel; different rooms, she is a Criminal Lawyer in Toronto and to make a long story short, a little cuban guy befriended her..... he took her out for dinner and eat and drank like a fish and when the bill "La cuenta" came... he told her he lost his wallet!!!.......so she had to pay.... then later on when they went for a walk.... he got arrested by the cops and taken to Jail for hanging out with a Tourist.... so Canadian girls are always taken advantadge......:)

My last piece of advice, offer a Cuba mamacita to bring her to Canada and she will be very sweet to you!....may even fuck you with no condom!!....LOL so watch out!

Cheers brothers!

This is also a great summary. I still think though that better girls will cost you north of 40 CUC (ASK is usually 60 to 80 but the really gorgeous ones go as high as 100). I don't like to haggle too much and find that girls love me more for that, and the mileage is great too. If you can converse as I do (in Italian helps for me), you will go farther. Buccanero is a great beer but Crystal is lighter and good for hangovers lol.

My friend has fucked and been blown by maids for better gifts like shoes (he's a repeat visitor and shops for various ladies here). I have not tried to fuck my last maid, although I think she would let it happen. If she was really gorgeous, I probably would succumb lol. It probably wouldn't be free as she would expect a tip but I bet 20 CUC would be huge for them. Now I sorta sound like Rob Ford.

In any event, I am selective with the ladies I end up seeing repeatedly. They would be the most intelligent if not the funniest, with a nice personality, but also a great body and fun in bed. Wish I could post pics and videos, but they are charming.

Honest Opinion. Been to Cuba.

Biggest turn off was language. Maybe its just me.

I would be happy getting a nice room here for $70 (deal) and do an out call. Everything 100% legal. Always covered under charter. Peace of mind. Relax and Enjoy.

Don't go to Cuba.

I don't know what you mean by 'turn off' when it comes to language?

I know plenty of Cuban people that actually speak very good Spanish.

Don I don't mean any disrespect to Cuban people. But two places I had problem.

1. Outside hobbying. E.g standing at desk to check in. People who spoke Spanish will cut in front of you and start talking and they get attention. Happens throughout the resort.

2. Ever been to Asian MP. Just mechanical. Some girls gave me that feeling.

Just my opinion. I recommend against it. But everyone can make their own decision. That's what this board is about. Good luck guys.

interesting. Were you unaware that it is a Spanish speaking country before you went? Actually I've found that the Cubans tend to speak more English than in any of the other Latin American countries I've been to.

As for peace of mind, well I don't see what is even remotely stressful about mongering in Cuba. I go out to a club, find a girl I like, drink and dance with her all night and then take her back to my place all for under $100. 9 out of 10 times the experience is mindblowing and you'll never hear a Cuban girl tell you that your hour is almost up.

Personally, between Cuba, Panama and Colombia I rarely even bother with the scene in Toronto anymore. No knock on any of the girls here, many of which are great providers and treat their clients very well. But there's simply a much more relaxed less businesslike mentality in these countries.

We are all entitled to our own opinions, and I'm sure you're not the first person not to enjoy Cuba. It's a shame you didn't enjoy yourself though, because for many people it's a wonderful place. But it seems a bit harsh to say to people "don't go to Cuba" because you had a couple meh experiences and a few people budded in front of you in line.

I would encourage you to try Cuba away from the resorts, try Havana, Cienfuegos, Camaguey. Cuba is not the same country once you leave the resorts.

Cubans tend to be rude people unless they are trying to get something out of you. I been to Cuba 5 times and every-time I have to deal with rude Cubans.

Lol.

I checked out some of the places you hang at or stay and said 'Senor Draper was here'.

I know little Spanish but get by with my Italian, and a lot of the girls or locals in general understand (many Italian tourists visit Cuba and their rapport with the locals is very good, so that helps).

I recommend for anyone going to pick up a book and study the language - even refresh yourself on the plane ride down.

Yeah learning basic Spanish cannot be that hard, most of us managed to learn basic French, but the ideal would be to have a wing-man like senor Draper to guide and talk, the ultimate guys vacation, you know that show Califonication? Just sex whenever and with as many hot women as often as possible. The whole idea of those longer dates with dinner and shopping and then sex really appeals to me. Better than Vegas and much more affordable.

I don't know, I feel like Sosua DR is a hell of a lot easier. The whole town is set up for mongering. They actually police the town so tourist will feel safe while they are mongering....lol. They have all the stuff that is rare in Cuba like coke, and corona. Food is pretty good. A women will not be sent to the police station and subject to 3 hours of interrogation just I talked to her.

Exactly as I said, big papi Fidel and his little brother are Marxist-Leninist pimps on a huge scale. Cuba is in dire need of tourist dollars, they know why a lot of guys are down there on vacation and they want to keep them coming and coming. They love Canadians these Cubans and want to show the love.

does it really matter? at the end of the day your paying both and it's not like your marrying them.
Well if you can fuck say five Dominican SPs in a week of vacation then counting in the tickets you are paying almost as much as you would pay here. Considering the diversity of women in Toronto and relative lack thereof in DR you may as we'll not go there at all. Unless you have a particular thing for islanders.

The whole point of Cuba to me is that you get to fuck semipros or actual civvies.

after hearing these stories i'd be interested in visiting cuba, but i recently read an article that mentioned they are getting rid of the CUC (tourist money if you will) what effect will this have on hobby-ing prices down there? after playing around with a currency converter $100 CAD is equal to nearly 2.5k in pesos (CUP) it's understandable why locals would be so happy if you gave them a 20 CUC tip as it is pegged to the USD, which, at times is roughly the same value of the CAD.

Interesting, reads that the CUC will be devalued. Cubans with CUC hidden away will have to convert them to another currency while they still have some value. Can Cubans convert CUC or CUP to a hard currency, as tourist can do at the currency exchange? When a Cuban puts CUC into the bank, are they saved as CUC or converted to CUP? Thinking there could be Cubans who have saved and hidden away the CUC running around trying to convert them at almost any price.

Cubans can use CUC's in special stores, that carry imported goods. I do not know if they can convert them to other currencies.

from what i've been told, the locals have to exchange CUC to CUP. CUC is really for tourists or anything to do with foreign trade from my understanding. like danmand said there are special places they can use CUC
