Ghandis politics were more suitable for India (sort of) in his time, ( an assbackwards melting pot of a hundred different cultures, extreme poverty poor education and under colonial rule of a foreign power)
They are not at all suitable for 2014 Canada, a well develop economically stable democracy with an educated work force and an abundance of in-demand - resources.
