Ford lies about everything. He lied about his drug use. He lied about his drunk driving. He lied about working hard. He is now lying about the fiscal situation of the city.
The vehicle registration tax that Ford cancelled brought in as much annually as the casino estimate would have, after the many years it took to build ( around $50 million). Thanks for another reminder of Ford's inability to do basic math. And I blame him for the casino failure.
Every time he spoke, support for it dropped. If Lastman or Miller had wanted a casino they would have made it happen through negotiations and consensus. Ford as usual lied about the numbers. turned it into a fight, and alienated almost everyone..
Not everyone against the casino was a "leftist". There are many conservatives who do not approve of gambling or opposed it for other reasons. In fact the vote was similar to yesterday: 40-4 against. Left and right were united.

The witch hunt against Rob Ford will never end, the Toronto Star and other liberals should be ashamed of themselves, they have no dignity and will stop at nothing to trample on Rob Ford while he's down. What's next? Rob Ford eats the hearts of school children and little kittens? Ironically, the more the Toronto Star try to bring him down, the more support he gets, and the stronger he becomes.

Sure he is a buffoon, where was the Toronto Star when our Liberal attorney general (bryant) was hammered during most of his stint as attorney general? No stuff like this on a poilce investigation should not be made public UNLESS there are charges layed. Police should not engage in character assassinations.
