TV shows you wish they would bring back

Most TV shows from the past had a good run and were past their "sell" date by the time they were cancelled, so I'm not all that eager to see any of them brought back. Besides, with the possible exception of Hawaii Five-O and V, how many recent attempts at reviving old shows were really any good? For example, anyone remember (or want to remember) the revived attempts at Bionic Woman? Knight Rider? Charlie's Angels?

It's been a looooooooooooooong time since a good Western show has been on the tube, 3 seasons of Deadwood aside. The Golden Age of Westerns was the 60's, the list is really long. The yardstick by which all the shows were measured was Gunsmoke, many now famous actors got their start on this show and it went for 20 years. I brlireve the Law&Order original series was the only tv series to match the run. John Waynes turned dow the lead role given to James Arness who ran with it to the end in '75. It made the move from radio in 1955 where William Conrad had the lead role.

It will be interest to see ow the latest resurrection of Ironsides adds up.

Southland, they just cancelled it. And they left it off with a cliffhanger. Hoping another station picks it up.

Showing my British bias I would love to see Rumpole of the Old Bailey and Yes, Minister (later Yes, Prime Minister) remade.

Star Trek was brought back 4 times. Talk about flogging a dead horse! It if came back now it would be as a spinoff of the current JJ Abrams movies and be more like Hawaii 5-0 or NCIS In Space than Roddenberry's orignal idea.
The Mod Squad was brought back as a movie.

Three's Company tried to return as Three's A Crowd but it was pretty bad and only lasted one season. And Will & Grace did enough of all the combinations and permutations of "straight pretending to be gay, gay pretending to be be straight" schitck to last another decade or two.

Love Friends! Wish they brought it back. Also King of Queens. :)
Friends came back as HIMYM, it was pretty much the same show.
King of Queens was not original and has been brought back many times. Fat dumb good natured husband, sassy attracitve wife, meddling parents and wacky neighbours.

I don't even understand what is meant by "bring back", Shows work because of the time, the cast and the writers so there's nothing really to bring back, and if the premise works it gets used over and over again anyway.
All the entertaining shows have been "brought back" as DVDs to be watched over and over again.

Seinfeld led to Curb Your Enthusiasm which led to Louie, we can't really go back to another Seinfeld now but there have been other shows with comedians playing altered versions of themselves.
