That may be the case. I certainly hope his days as mayor are numbered though. Too much personal drama and not much real action he was hired for.

There is enough circumstantial evidence there that Ford's silence speaks volumes.
He knew where the video was, he had been photographed with those people, several of his friends are drug dealers, he hired criminals obey his staff at city hall, he had been seen frequenting a known crack house.
If it wasn't for all that maybe the demands from Crack Nation would have some merit.
But not when there this many "coincidences" many of which are damning in their own right.

Personally I've stated from the beginning if the video does exist and comes to light I'll roast him. And yes I voted for him.
But it hasn't, has it? Nothing but a few rumours.
At what point will his detractors finally give this up? Probably never. That's the great thing about a conspirisy theory. No real proof required.
In the mean time the topic is virtually dead now....so why bother continuing?
I would not call 3 journalists independently corroborating details of what they saw in the video "a few rumours". Nor a conspiracy theory. Some sort of video exists, or at least existed, the only question is whether it really was a vid of the Mayor smoking crack.
I'll agree with you on the pointlessness of pursuing this unless some new info comes to light though. You're absolutely right on that score.

Nope. On the other hand, if I was the mayor, and someone made real, substantial allegations that I was a crack head, and if they had a ton of circumstantial evidence backing them up, I would attend.
You are trying to make it sound like the allegations against Ford are pulled out of thin air. They're not. They're multiply corroborated by a lot of different people, with a lot of evidence. He is connected to the people, he is connected to the place, he is surrounded by crack dealers and crack users, he has hired criminals and drug dealers onto his executive staff. He knew where the video was. Now we know that police and crown attorneys have seen the video.
Come on.
At the very least, there is enough here that he should give his side of the story and explain himself.
