Why this thread belongs to the escort review thread? Should it be in the Lounge section?.
If this thread was posted in the Lounge, you would get responses from all the idiots who don't even hobby, but spend their whole day posting in the Lounge. Posting in the review section gets responses from people who actually hobby, and have a life outside of terb.

All of this talk and LoveThem's links remind me of a book called Yellow: Race in America beyond black and white.

One of the thoughts of the book is that racial tensions over dating relate to an implicit sexism still running throughout our society. That a male having sex with a woman is seen to 'dominate' that woman, an egregious viewpoint. But that said it affects the topic at hand since it's often viewed as acceptable for a white guy to go out with an asian girl, but not an asian guy (or insert any other ethnicity) to go out with a white girl. Which is to say that the acceptability of which race goes out with whom are tied to outmoded and sexist power structures. It shouldn't matter.
Very insightful!

This is why I love TERB, our community is diverse and deep in knowledge.

We are like intellectual geeks with insatiable sex drives and I thank you for it.

Stay Gold,

Don Ron :)

You should have stopped at I'm drunk lol you are making less sense each post. It's becoming a little too biographical and egocentric. My 25 cents :)

You're asian and you dated white girls????? I never seen that pairing before. Asian girl with white guy i see all the time but never the opposite.
What? You've never seen Asian guys with white girls? Are you in Toronto? My last 3 girlfriends and my ex-fiance were all "white" (cuacasian, egyptian, half white/black). It not even surprising to see in Toronto any more. I'm Chinese by the way.

As for ironsman1, I wouldn't say finding an Asian GF is "easier" in Toronto. I truly believe it's based on the friends you keep and the people you go out with. I have two close groups of friends, one is almost ALL Asian (friends from school and still close), and date Asian (not really by choice, it just happens this way, none of them actually say "I only date asians). My other group of friends (mostly from clubbing, bars, and work) are all mixed, almost all the couples are mixed couple except one, but again, none of them "choose" a race, it's who they meet and who they crush on. Put it this way, I try to stay away from people that say "I only date one race." - especially when they aren't of that race (ie. Asian girls that say "I only date white guys".) FOr some reason, those people bug me.

Amen brother, those bitches are generally ugly with horrible personalities, and are so full of self loathing that they think excluding their own race will compensate for their self hatred.

don't think there is a formula buddy, anybody will go for any race as long as its the right person and interracial dating is within their beliefs etc...

You'll see plenty of Asian guys dating white girls - but very few of these couples will end up getting married.

I may not be an Asian guy, but as an Asian female who has dated Asian and non Asian men before becoming an SP, I thought I would share my personal observations regarding the differences between the ways non Asian men and Asian men approach women. I hope you don't mind.

I haven't dated too many Asian men because I find that whenever I know they are interested in dating me, they never come out and say it. At least with the Asian guys I tend to meet, I find that they like to spend a LONG time keeping things platonic in hopes that one day after playing the "Mr. Nice Guy" game for 6 months, we'll be sitting across from each other at a café, lock eyes, and I'll realize that I'm madly in love with him and the friendship will just magically become a romance. On the other hand, whenever a non Asian guy is interested in me, he tends to be more direct in his approach. He'll chat me up for a bit before asking if I would be interested in grabbing a coffee or having lunch with him at another time. Non Asians are less likely to play games which land them in the "friend zone" so to speak, which I prefer.

I'm not saying that this is how you specifically are going about approaching Asian girls, and I very well could be biased, unaware that this is some cultural thing that they do in Asia, but this has been the complaint of a few other Asian females I know who grew up here as I did. Maybe this is a factor in why Asian girls in Ottawa prefer white guys over Asians?

Best of luck, and hopefully you find that nice Asian girl soon :)
OK, I am an Asian guy who grew up here in Toronto. When I grew up, there was one other Asian in my public school and maybe 5-10 Asians in my high school of 1,500 students. I have dated non Asians my whole life. When I see a good looking Asian woman, I'm thinking in my head " Yes, I like to ask her out but I don't have 6 months of dating to invest in to this woman. I don't have that much patience, lol. I'm looking for 2 to 3 dates and getting intimate. I just don't think this is gonna happen with an Asian woman, lol.

In Toronto there are more white guy/asian girl combos than asian guy/white girl but neither are ridiculously uncommon. There are also many asian/asian couples too. I'd say that a lot of the asian women born here and are less traditional (in the strict asian sense) date more white guys whereas the fobbier or more traditional types tend to date asian guys. Again, that isn't a rule but just a personal observation. Asian guys are often more timid with the ladies and i've heard this multiple times and at the end of the day that is what hurts them.

QFT, as an asian guy, I was pretty laid back. You need to really grab the bull by the horn and accept imperfection. You got to fail to succeed. Lot of asian guys grow up a bit shelter and don't develop the skills needed to succeed in dating. I knew i had to make a change, self analysis is very important for personal growth.

As an American (who loves Canada) the Toronto streets seem to be filled with far more asian/asian couples that major American cities. It has alwasy made me wonder if teh asian communities in Toronto are more insular. Hardly scientific though.

This is one of the biggest problem I have with this sort of discussion, it will in fact become an issue of RACE, and Asians men will ended up becoming the thrawn of the discussion. In western societies Asians men are under represented and very poorly treated. When was the last time you see a tall/good looking Asian man in a TV ad in Canada or America? Hollywood couldn't even get an oriental actor to play an oriental character in Iron Man 3, Yes the Mandarin is very Chinese.

Another issue I have is when a White man date an Asian girl is because Asian girls wants a white men, but when an Asian man date a white girl is the Asian men at wants a white girl. This distorted and racist sentiment toward Asians only wanting to be with white people is disgusting and harmful. White men don't go chasing after Asian girls in nightclub right? I have a lot of Asians guy friends and a lot of them refuse to date white girls because they don't want to be portray negatively. It's the same thing with my Asian gfs, most of them will never date white men because of the negative image that come with dating white men. They are no longer women but Asian women wanting to be with a white men, in most cases it was the white men that tried to pick them up at clubs and bars.

The orientals race looks very different for other races. This is probably why you don't see white girls with Asian men. I found white girls in general are closed mind and they only date and marry white men. The idea that white girls don't date Asian men because of tradition and other made up nonsense is all bullsh*ts. How the hell would they know this if they never dated Asian? Asian men are only tradition if they were born and raised in Asian, if they're CBC, they're as free spirited as any one in this country. When was the last time you see white girl with a black man, latino man or Indian man? Walk the street of downtown Toronto and tell me this?

White girls are very shallow, they want their man to have a certain look and in most cases it's the look you only found in Hollywood movies.

What do you mean by "Asian"? Asia a big continent with many different peoples, cultures, and races.

If you mean like Chinese, I suggest you check out the bars, clubs, and restaurants in Markham and Richmond Hill. Many new condos are going up in the area and the residents are almost totally Chinese.

Why in the world would any non-white guy, whether Asian or not, want to date a white girl? Or any girl from a different race?

White gals make amazing SPs (worldwide) with their open minded services and all compared to SPs from other races
(There's no way I could've got to try the things I did in bed with girls from other races)

But they make horrible dates / partners !! Sorry! No offence to anyone. It's just my experience. I never try to get close to them or a women from a different ethnicity, if I'm not paying !

I find that the best, most fun, real-hard-on giving and passionate sex in the non-SP category is same-race sex

And there's more to dating / relationships / partnerships than sex, which is why white is to be avoided if you're not a white guy. Or girls in general from different ethnicities than your own
