How come for example when I do a site wide search for "prostate" my own reviews do seem to show up although some are current?

Your question doesn't make sense. Are you looking for your old posts or more recent posts on prostate? You always have the option in a search of stating a time period you want the search to cover.

Forum search functions are notoriously persnickety. You rarely get what you want, and you will NEVER get every incidence of your search terms. Virtual gremlins mucking up the works or somesuch.

Just a straight up search for "prostate" I am not really looking for my own posts, but I noticed recent reviews I wrote which have "prostate" in them do not show up.

Search function is hit and miss at the best of times. Seems to work just as poorly on other forums as well, so it's probably just bb board being bb-buggy.
