A complete disgrace to see this gutless punk win the same trophy that has Bobby Orr's name on it!Wow! P.K. Subban won the Norris Trophy!
Please, have you ever watched him play. Ya he runs his mouth from time to time (something he has toned down a lot this year, that will come with maturity - only 23) but he was by far the best Habs play this year, and honestly, probably the best D man. If you even watched him on Sportsnet as a commentator, he was terrific, and all the sportscasters loved him. He's gonna be a great players for many years to come.A complete disgrace to see this gutless punk win the same trophy that has Bobby Orr's name on it!
Scott Niedermayer won the Norris Trophy as a New Jersey Devil. No Toronto Maple Leaf has ever won the Norris (Randy Carlyle won as a Penguin). Why?
Was Scott Niedermayer ever a Toronto Maple Leaf either as player or coach? Just thought it is odd that no Toronto Maple Leaf has ever won the Norris while playing as a Leaf when every other original 6 teams have had at least one winner.Scott Niedermayer won the Norris Trophy as a New Jersey Devil.
What's your point?
Scott Niedermayer was selected with the 3rd overall pick (originally Toronto's pick) acquired by New Jersey in exchange for Tom Kurvers. Was Scott Niedermayer ever a Toronto Maple Leaf either as player or coach? Yes I watched him play. Should not have won the Norris, not this season anyway. Please, have you ever watched him play. I guess Dougie getting the Selke Trophy is the only Leaf to win one of the major awards in 59 years ...No Toronto Maple Leaf has ever won the Norris (Randy Carlyle won as a Penguin). Why?
That is probably right. I think the last Leaf to win the scoring title was back in the 1930's. Yet, I think the Hockey HOF has more Leafs than from any other team. (Costanza will probably correct me if I'm wrong. That's why we have him around.)I guess Dougie getting the Selke Trophy is the only Leaf to win one of the major awards in 59 years ...
