Early this year I lost a dear friend. He was an unusual person. He was someone I took the time to get to know, and he got to know me.
He was inititially my photographer. I used to stride by his studio in London in my 20's, and wish someday I could hire him to take exquisite photos of me, like the ones I saw in his window.
Well, years later, I commissioned him to do my escort portfolio. It proved to be a great artistic union. He had the skill, I had the vision. Well...he also had a similar vision! Together we made art.
I regret that he had to pass in his mid 60's due to cancer. He did, but not without a fight. He lived the healthiest lifestyle I have ever witnessed.
I post this intimate personal photo, in honour of Off Broadway Photo and the talent behind the works, James Hockings.
I miss you terribly.
