So tell us some more oh self appointed expert of Terb how oral sex is safe and no one is at risk from it.

it was sort of obvious simon. But she is the one providing bad information that can put people at risk.

I'm not saying they don't work, I just can't personally picture using them for oral sex because to me the ring seems like it would be in the way. Do you mean use it while it's inside the vagina/anus?
I think a dental dam (the larger ones) would be easier to use for oral sex. You could cut the female condom to make a great dental dam though, and they are made from polyurethane so the taste might be better than using a latex condom or glove. On that note, any polyisoprene condom would not have a latex taste. ie: Durex Bare and Lifestyles Skyn.
Not that long ago they were fairly easy to get in europe and england. Well among my friends for certain. If you got your hands on one you would slip it inside and be ready for the boy. Before he entered you the option existed for some daty. The upper part of the ring well into above the top of my clit. It was easy to suck my clit, my inner lips etc. It was also easy to switch from oral directly into penetration.
I must admit I have not seen any in North America. But I find them superior in most ways from a woman's point of view. You have control, hard to sneak them off, oral protection first then penetration with no cross contamination.
Try one, you might like one. FYI appropriate lubrication inside between you and it makes it feel nicer.

I was talking about condoms made from polyisoprene not polyurethane. (I always get them mixed up too.)
The female condom is polyurethane. Latex free condoms used to be polyurethane and then they came out with polyisoprene which is newish and quite a different feeling material. (I agree, polyurethane isn't stretchy, but that isn't a problem for polyisoprene.)

It does not, though, contain the various allergenic proteins found in natural latex, and will therefore not trigger symptoms in most allergy sufferers. Compared to polyurethane condoms, the other latex alternative, polyisoprene condoms are softer and stretchier, for a more natural feeling. May I suggest the use of shrink wrapping plastic ? Found in all grocery stores. Was till now used to wrap cut fruits and vegetables.I can't really picture a female condom being used for covered ORAL sex. They are also called receptive condoms. (I've never heard it called a vaginal condom.)

It's a piece of latex you can put over the vagina or anus. Don't pull on it and stretch it out - just lay it on top, a little lube on it helps too.
If you don't have one you can make one from a condom or latex glove. Dental dams and home made dental dams are also great for rimming. They aren't all purple, they can be other colours too, that's just what I found on google image search!
DON'T STRETCH IT OUT LIKE THIS or you won't be able to feel anything. Just drape it onto the bits!
Make your own, just carefully cut the tip off a condom and then slit up the side and roll it open into a square.
You can shrink wrap anything you want. Hey use it to shrink wrap your tongue and penis. Also your index finger.
Looks like I may have hit on a money making idea. Sex be "dammed". Just use a doll. Great for multiple use and can even be deflated and stored in your closet behind your wife's wedding gown.

It all boils down to yes there are risks, inform yourself and make a decision with which you are comfortable living.

No I am not a man. Someone who I was arguing with decided that I could not be a woman because it was going badly for him. Since then some of our members have perpetuated it. Capitalguy even claims to have read an imaginary thread that no one else ever saw where he claims I confessed to being a man.
I understand SPJ's position that being honest is bad for business etc, but I believe people have a right to know. So I guess she and I will never see eye to eye.
None the less I am a woman and a mother. And even if I was not, how would that make facts and risks less real?
I am a little surprised you would lbelieve petty rumors and even more surprised you would let them taint your reaction to solid information.
