Today I heard a song on the radio, on a pop/rock station (so I would assume it's fairly current), that featured a banjo prominently. It was perfect for an ad presentation that I'm giving next week. i thought to myself that it would be easy to remember and look up when I got home, but now of course the lyrics and any other identifying elements escape me completely.

Googling "banjo popular music" etc. was no help at all. Damn it! I know it's not "Little Lion Man".

A long shot I know, but if anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it.

Thanks - KK

look up the radio station's website. They will have the playlists for that time period. Go from there.

You need to get Shazam.

Im surprised the radio station is on a 90 minute cycle. Most radio stations have a list of every song they have played from the last for 24 hours at exaclty what time it was played.

Current, pop, banjo...first thing that comes to mind is Mumford and Sons.

I also though it could be 'I will wait for you" by Mumford & Sons.

It could also be 'Hey Ho" by The Lumineers since both songs are very popular right now.

The Lumineers sounds more "mandolin-ish" than "banjo-ey". Maybe it's this:

Hey Kkelso, give us the gist of your ad presentation & we'll reverse-engineer back to the song that's perfect for it.

Probably not the song Kkelso heard (not exactly pop/rock format), but man, this is some kick-ass music:

Foggy Mountain Breakdown, BTW

Do you really think that would be on a station that plays current pop hits?

LOL!! wrong link added. I thought I pasted a link to Feist "1234" but I guess I was distracted by Muppets, and then Scruggs & friends

I've had it rattling around since around 9pm last night and it won't stop!
