You have to name the series when you ask a question.

This is a complete guess. Rene Auberjonois (sp?) played Odo in Star Trek Deep Space 9. He also had a role in the movie M*A*S*H, and I'm thinking he was Father Mulcahy. My guess is that he was offered that role in the TV series.

CC, what actor had the same role in the movie and TV series?

I already had that question in the hopper.

While most of the characters from the movie carried over to the series, only three actors appeared in both: Gary Burghoff (Radar O'Reilly) and G. Wood (General Hammond) reprized their movie roles in the series (though Wood appeared in only three episodes). Timothy Brown (credited as "Tim Brown") played "Cpl. Judson" in the movie and Spearchucker Jones in series.

Hmmm.... I was thinking of Gary Burghoff, and the other two didn't occur to me.

By the way, what's your call on my answer re: Father Mulcahy?

No need to name the series. He asked for the name of the character and anybody knows that the back of the head of the other character belongs to Arnold Horshack.
Therefore the series was Welcome Back, Kotter. Without naming the series the question forced you to use your mind instead of Google.

Trick question, even though Mercury is closest to the Sun, its Venus which is hotter

How is that a trick question, you trombenick? The question is simple, which one is hotter?
Venus has a thicker atmosphere to absorb the radiation from the sun and is hotter than Mercury.
