Advark, Simon likes to make up BS to hurt people. It is his nature, but thank you for trying to help.Simon! :argue:
except for the part about you not having any clients and never being in the business is true. remember guy, i didn't attack you till after you insulted me, me job, my quality of life, my education, where i live, who i am, what i think, what i believe. so yeah i am not making anything up, you never had clients and were never in the business, you are not some guru or sp life that knows all the tricks, in fact you know none of the tricks since you never actually were in the business.Advark, Simon likes to make up BS to hurt people. Well, when I first glanced at the story that was (mistakenly) the impression I got. But then when I thought about it for a second, the "living in his parents' basement" just didn't fit. I think they intentionally mentioned that he lived with his mother to make people think this; it's otherwise totally irrelevant.OK I give you that, I thought you realized that other posters using "in the basement" was factitious.
Except for the part where we explain in much detail why we think you are a fictional character created by LokiAdvark, Simon likes to make up BS to hurt people. It is his nature, but thank you for trying to help.
He borrowed it from his mom, so its her that's out the money. There's two sides to every story. At the end of the day (unless my reading comprehension fails) the guy is out $700 and didn't get laid. Notwithstanding everything else, that's kinda sad.
I understand that point of view mrsCAloki. But keeping $1,500 or even the $700 she eventually kept is ridiculous when she didn't do anything. As a full time student / part time SP I only averaged $10k a month. If I had set a side a 3 day weekend because someone had booked it and sent a deposit I would not have been looking for back up work. I would not have made my $10k for the month if someone had cost me my working weekend. So of course I would have kept the money. This was not a regular client who after several sessions had to cancel or re-book one. It was a new guy who was pulling the plug.
At several thousand dollars I can only assume it is a 3 or 4 day weekend thing. Keep in mind that the $1,500 was a deposit to commit/lock the time. She provided that commitment/lock.I understand that point of view mrsCAloki. But keeping $1,500 or even the $700 she eventually kept is ridiculous when she didn't do anything.
We really need more info to determine who is more or less at fault. Was the deposit for travel or for insurance against lost business? My bet is the former, but I can't prove it. I don't see a deposit of $1,500 being required for a regular in-town date, even an over-nighter. Therefore, if anything, she should have only charged a cancellation fee ($100?) and re-booked the weekend if at all possible. Most med students would be happy to make a free $100. I can't see what she did as anything other than greed and stubbornness.
That said, I have no tolerance for people blackmailing other people with defamation of character in this industry. Glad the police got involved and put an end to it.
Been a long time since I've seen an "escort picture" look anything like a facebook picture, in fact I usually complain that they don't look like the real person at all because of make-up hair, the Santillo curse etc. I will bow to your superior nerdiness on this subject. Does this mean you are in your 50's and live with mom too? This part is believable. On dating sides I routinely google image search people's profile pictures and frequently that leads to more information, often a fb page where I can view their "real" pictures and see that they are actually quite fat lol.
People tend to have a favorite picture they reuse.
An escort should be vigilant about that, not use the same pics, and lock down their fb privacy settings, but not everyone is aware that your can search facebook by photo.
Not at all. I don't think you are "Kate". In fact I thought I was pretty clear in expressing my opinion that I don't think the "Kate" in the story actually exists.To train;
I get the feeling your trying to say I'm that kate? I've said it twice I'm not. !
Hi,
So I am not this woman either. I am far from 23 and not in medical school. LOL
True or perhaps a publicity stunt . Not that many in Toronto with thisYeah, this guy was so clever he was 58 and still living in his mother's basement.
That's assuming she told someone she had never met that she was really a medical student. You really think that happened? Not me.
Have you figured out why she went to the papers after this supposed harrassment had ended ? Was it to further protect her anonymity ? This has Snopes written all over it.
Trust me if it was me, id be yelling from the rafters about it and would have sent back some money ASAP!True or perhaps a publicity stunt . Not that many in Toronto with this
sexy accent and price point being the same.
Newspaper especially the sun love these types of stories true or not.
What? How do you know that? I'm still thinking the deposit was for travel costs incurred (which ended up not being incurred), not as insurance of her commitment to the arrangement. Even if it was for that, it's a ridiculous amount. $1,500 to ensure she doesn't make other plans for a weekend? Crazy! At several thousand dollars I can only assume it is a 3 or 4 day weekend thing. You're right, it's a completely different world. Anyone who would require that much money to lock up a weekend's worth of her time, then not give the majority of it back when that's no longer required is certainly living in a different world than me.
