So Danica wins the pole and becomes the first woman to do so and making all the promoters of NASCAR immediately get a warm fuzzy feeling thinking of how they can promote the accomplishment.

There has never been any doubt that Danica always qualifies well and runs well by herself........

So in the words of the immortal Rowdy Burns, "Now we'll see how you do in a crowd".

Her record speaks for itself, 1 win in all those years. The fact that she is in Hendrick equipment puts her (or anyone else in that equipment) in a position where it is totally possible for her to win anytime, especially on an oval. Lets get real, NASCAR and all other forms of racing will do anything to have a female in a car, its good for sponsors period. If she was a man, she would not be in the position she is in, she would most likely never have made it to the highest levels of racing.

Can't believe she got the poll. She is so over rated, Last year she finished a distanced 10th in Nationwide. Cup driver aren't eligible for points and I think there were only 11 drivers that started all the races. Doubt if she finishes the race.

The reason she wrecks is because she languishes in the back of the pack.
Her strategy is attrition.
Hoping that if she stays out of trouble she can finish top 10.
Invariably she gets involved in wrecks she can't avoid because she's not out front.
