One of the team that worked on the cartoons was Ben "Bugs" Hardaway. The other artists referred to the rabbit as Bugs Bunny.

Hardaway's Rabbit was usually referred to as "Happy Rabbit", but did not have an 'official' name, as he was not addressed by name in any of his cartoons, nor was his name included in any of the cartoon titles. The name Bugs Bunny originally appeared as Bugs' Bunny, with an, (possessive), apostrophe, on a character model sheet.
That would depend on what type of snake bit you.
